I was kinda interested until I saw the words "nerve bundles". There are no nerves in the brain, which is why they do brain surgery on people who're awake. You can't feel it being touched.
Pseudo-science is silly.
yeah that bit kinda confused me too, but I don't think that discredits everything else discussed in the article
Maybe not, but I'm not gonna give it the benefit of the doubt. I haven't got enough time to spend.

God leaves signs of faith all over. If you guys choose not to see them, that's on you. I forgive you, you better just hope God does too.
I want no forgiveness from a God that treats people like crap and wants to be worshipped.
Fixed.

Call the police if I can't catch him myself, explain the situation to them, hope they find people who're old enough to get in trouble for encouraging that kind of behaviour with him.
When they bring him back, I deprive him of things he likes to punish him, remove gaming devices from him, probably take his phone away if he has one, limit the time he can spend with his friends by grounding him, and keep the phone/computer access/gaming devices longer if he disobeys.

The Flood / Re: Ads

They get no ad revenue as I don't click on them anyway.
That's only one way it works. You can also generate revenue per view.
You get a lot less for it, and it's honestly not worth me unblocking them just for this site when I can't stand them. Honestly, I'd much rather host the entire site myself. Then nobody would have to see ads.
Ours is CPM, which is cost per thousand views. Clicks help, but the money is mostly from views. I don't and won't force you to enable ads, but they do keep the site from sinking.
I'm browsing on my phone anyway, which doesn't block them. But I refuse to turn off my adblock on my pc out of principle. I can always pay your host or host it myself if my very tiny amount of browsing here actually monumentally affects you.
There'll likely be a donation feature sometime in the future if you'd like to disable ads for your account, so no worries.
I'm actually quite fond of that kinda feature. Mostly because money isn't really an issue for me, I just hate ads.

if its american cheese it probably not worth it.
I know... but my curiosity makes me do stupid things. I'll try to forget about it.
i feel i should clarify. if it was orange, bright orange, its way not worth it.
if not, it is probably not bad.
It was a lightish red. Like, cheese red. And it was called American Red Cheddar.
The only red cheeses I know are English ones that've been artificially coloured. Like red Leicester. Those are actually good though. Red Leicester is nice and mature.

No, but I don't see them because I have an adblocker.
I bet you devour puppies whole and drink the tears of orphans.

If you don't at least disable adblock for websites you frequent then you are a horrible person.
They get no ad revenue as I don't click on them anyway. The one exception is amazon ads. I've clicked on a few of their cookie targetted ads.

Just believe whatever the hell you want and extend others the same courtesy.
that's why religion is so bad though

because the whole idea is that they can't keep their beliefs to themselves
because... that's against their religion
In a strict sense, converting people is important to Christianity, sure. But most of the actual Christians I meet IRL hardly even bring up their faith. And while I definitely agree with the concept of atheism, atheists are usually a lot more annoying than Christians.
On the whole, I think it's just the vocal minorities that skew everyone's opinions on either side. Zealots are annoying regardless of their affiliations.
The problem is that the quiet majority isn't doing anything to distance itself from that vocal minority, acting as tacit approval.
Uh, it shouldn't have to. Just because two people are Christians doesn't mean that one is responsible for how the other acts.
I didn't say they're responsible, just that if you don't make it known you don't approve of their actions, you're going to get lumped in together.
There's usually plenty of evidence that they disagree. Most people give away very obvious cues that they disagree from visual cues of disapproval to sighs and arguments. I do think people need to stand up for what they believe is right though.

This right here is truth. I'm English, and there are dirty crappy English people. I don't control them, so I'm not to blame for them.

Not really, it's just that some of them like to be zealots. I get along with a lot of religious people because it's just not a topic we talk about in casual conversation in this country.
you don't live in my country then
I'm guessing United States. In which case, you're correct. Most countries that aren't the US consider taking about how much someone earns, politics, or religion to be very intrusive, deeply personal questions.

Physics. Something which you clearly know nothing about.

But I've taken more higher education physics classes than you....
Hold it right there, criminal scum, I'm halfway through a degree in engineering.

That's a good joke, tell another.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_science

"Political science is a social science discipline that deals with systems of government and the analysis of political activity and political behavior.[1] It deals extensively with the theory and practice of politics which is commonly thought of as the determining of the distribution of power and resources. Political scientists "see themselves engaged in revealing the relationships underlying political events and conditions, and from these revelations they attempt to construct general principles about the way the world of politics works."[2] Political science draws upon the fields of economics, law, sociology, history, anthropology, public administration, public policy, national politics, international relations, comparative politics, psychology, political organization, and political theory. Although it was codified in the 19th century, when all the social sciences were established, the study of political science has ancient roots that can be traced back to the works of Plato and Aristotle which were written nearly 2,500 years ago.[3]"
That doesn't make it any more than a children's science degree :^)
Well, it's a subject I actually like and want to get into so I don't see the harm in taking it.
Nor do I, I'm teasing you.
