My brother and sister are watching Netflix on my Wii u right now so I can't get on. If they get off at a reasonable time I'll let you know? Otherwise I'll be free tomorrow.

I was super excited until I saw it was for Wii U -.-
What else would they make it for? If you want a good 3DS Star Fox,
If you meant consoles from other companies then I'm sorry to break it you you but...
Oooh! It's been so long since I have even touched my 3DS, but I'll definitely have to check it out, and yeah I should have assumed that it would have been for Nintendo's latest console. Star Fox is Nintendo's work after all...
SF643D came out in 2011, it's a pretty great remaster with high quality textures and audio. It's still 64 with the short story and memorable lines and it has some great local multiplayer too. I question why they changed " Hey Einstein, I'm on your side!" to, " Hey genius...!" I can say with certainty that Nintendo won't talk about the NX this year, I think that the NX will come out 2017 tbh. We will have more large Wii U titles, but Nintendo announcing that they'll talk about the NX at E3 is not a good sign for the Wii U

They should have gone with SSB4 hair design IMO >.>
I prefer the more realistic style to be honest. The one Fox design I hate is the Command one and that reminds me of it quite a bit. I think the fur looks better in the new one.

I still hate how they look
like, they're cheap costumes from a furry convention or something
i'd expect nothing less from >platinum games though
Kinda reminds of the old SNES box art, which was uglier tbh.
at least they look like sesame-street-tier puppets, though
and not... fursuits
Those look sesame street tier because they were made by the Jim Henson Company, same with Nintendo's E3 2015 puppets.

I'd play with Verbatim, Catzilla and Rocketman for no particular reason.

I've grown to like the designs. What else would they do for the character models? People would complain if they were cel-shaded because of "muh hd", the only reason I didn't like them at first was due to how different they looked from previous renders. I think it definitely improves over this. I've never played a Platinum Games game before, other than the Wonderful 101 demo, so I'm trying to keep my expectations low. Regardless of co-dev, the gameplay looks like the Star Fox we all know and love.

Is it just me, or is the game extremely hard to play? inb4gitgud
Honestly I tried Splatoon again after a couple months and it's just...ehhh. I want to like it, I really do, and I like watching gameplay but everything else about it I just can't get into.
I downloaded the game at launch and I enjoyed it, despite the lack of content. Eventually I stopped playing since I got tired of the 4 maps, few guns, etc. When I picked it up again (at level 9, only level 10s can play ranked) I felt outclassed by every other player. I expected a good matchmaking system, but I was a level 9 paired up with people level 30+, and most of the people I ended up playing were from Japan, so I had some lag. Also, because of the level difference, all the other players had extremely better equipment, for example, being able to take many more hits than I could. It takes an insane amount of matches to get to the level of my opponents, which means I need to grind levels, not even having the slightest bit of fun, and at that point I just don't give a shit anymore.
Anyone else have this with Splatoon? Any other games with this type of curve?

One of my most anticipated games now.
I'd be shocked if they didn't announce more Pokemon.

Why do you care about how others play their games? Because some ways are better than others, objectively.
Entertainment is completely subjective; some may prefer Pokemon with cheats, does that mean that there's something wrong with them? Yes.
The rest of your post is just you repeating yourself in three or four different ways, so fuck it.
What you have to do is demonstrate how cheating isn't an objectively bad way to play. You're going to fail.
Well I need to know what your definition of "a bad way to play" is. I've thought of cheating as a way to add extra enjoyment to my games (i.e. access cut content, test how the cheats interact with the game, just see what playing the game without limitations feels like). I don't see how it's wrong to find this fun. I really don't know if you think any of this is okay. If you don't, then I guess I failed.

Your definition of what's fun and what isn't is not law. Explain to me in detail how cheating makes the game more fun, then.
You're gonna fucking fail so fucking hard.
Meanwhile, allow me to explain precisely why playing the game properly is infinitely more fun and rewarding than cheating could be, because you're apparently too fucked in the head to figure it out yourself.
Developers spend many months carefully crafting these games. Every little thing in the game was created by somebody, and it's all meant to be observed and enjoyed. If I'm walking myself into a new area, I'm going to absorb each and every little bit of it that I can, not only to immerse myself in the game's world and narrative, but to appreciate all of the subtle nuance that the developer's put into the game at the game's pace.
No one likes to grind--but it's all part of the game. Taking away grinding by speeding through the entire game is taking away all that nuance, all the experience, and all the immersion. What used to be a long, arduous, yet rewarding journey is now a ten minute victory given to you on a silver platter, with no real work, effort, or passion involved.
All these precious moments I have from my childhood of searching for hours in tall grass in search of ONE rare Pokémon--sure, I hated searching for that long, but if I could just expedite the whole process, it would have lost ALL its value. The value would have been destroyed completely.
If you don't see the value in subtlety, or nuance, or patience, or adversity, or "the journey", but you DO see value in ruining all that? Just for a quick victory? Then you're just too stupid. And I'm a destination type person.
Simply saying "Cheating is wrong because cheating=wrong" is what I meant about non-critical thinking. Well, it's a good thing I never actually did that, then. Lying shithead.
That's not how I meant it. "I say things that I don't mean."
How intelligent.
Except you can't run out of that game. It's endless. Games can be broken or lost or sold or given away. If you want another copy, you should buy it again. Piracy just makes you a thieving cunt.
"Only my opinion matters because I'm a boy scout who doesn't want to break the rules." - Verbatim
I could say that I enjoy seeing piss on the Mona Lisa. I don't, but regardless of what you think, my opinion is just as valid as yours. Bullshit. Opinions are nothing but SHIT. You have to BACK THEM UP.
And you've failed to do even do that.
If you CAN'T back it up, or if you back it up POORLY, then your opinion is as good as wrong.
Why do you care about how others play their games? Entertainment is completely subjective; some may prefer Pokemon with cheats, does that mean that there's something wrong with them? No, that's just how they want to play. Cheating may be more fun for them, not everyone has the same tastes. Some might not want a challenge, they may prefer to be unstoppable in Pokemon because they find that more fun. Just because you don't enjoy cheating/think it's wrong, doesn't mean others share the same opinion. They can play Pokemon however they want, it's not affecting you. Your analogy of cheating being like taking a piss on the Mona Lisa is completely different in this case. People who cheat at single player Pokemon aren't ruining the game of another person, they're simply 'pissing on their own painting'. On the topic of emulation, I personally think it's alright if you already own the game and are emulating it to enhance your experience.

Also... Your Ness was great, you did a good job spacing. You had the best Dr. Mario I've seen (I don't see that many but I still think he's your best character). For Toon Link, the projectiles were a bit of an annoyance but they didn't really keep me at bay well.
Watch for when people jump over your projectiles too.
