Holy shit I actually came first in a 4 man Smash online

Was that when me, Eli, Verb, and you were playing?

Or was that actually online? If so: For Fun or Glory?

For Fun, online.

Just won another one too, 2 in a row lol

I think Ike is my true calling
How come?

I'm playing with Verb and Eli right now. I'm using Ike, and he just feels the right weight and speed for me.

Also do blaster shots cause bleeding now? Cause that one Stormtrooper near the start smeared blood over Finn's helmet.

Watched TFA again today. I don't like how many times Han and Leia referred to Kylo as 'OUR SON'

I guess they wanted to save the real name drop for when Han shouts 'BEN!'

Seems like it was less of a Hunger Game and more like Kiwi hunting down some idiots in a forest like a slasher villain.

Hmm I might stick to single player until I get a better feel. I like using Marth, he has nice attacks and he's not too heavy or light. Is there a way to toggle the dashing? I hate it when I attack and then I immediately start dashing afterwards.

Well done :)
right

well, assuming he hasn't switched characters, the best thing to do in those situations is to just bait him out

mewtwo is strong, but he's also very light and kinda slow, so he can't take very many hits himself, on top of being "unsafe" (he can't just do moves willy-nilly, because if he misses or gets blocked, he'll get punished hard)

e.g.
if he's grabbing you a lot, try predicting that and rolling away when he gets close--then counterattack, if you're quick enough

how long have you been playing?
the best advice i could give to a beginner, i think, is to learn how to play defensively

kinda like how they teach you to drive defensively

I played for a little bit when it came out, quit for a while and only just came back on.

Man I do get really pissed off when I play these games :(

I'm the world's worst player

Not to be mean at all, but I died laughing at the Ghandi mii.

Also, I was wondering what was with the excessive up-b's with marth.

It's the best thing I can hit with

I just updated my WiiU, now I gotta update Smash. Will probably be 20-ish mins. Can I play it offline while it updates?

I honestly have no idea, tbh.

I am on my Wii U and Smash, so I can wait, though.

Oh, it goes to pending when I go on the game. Guess I'll wait.
