I see this. Where are you in the manga? You would have already got much more of a taste for the Black Swordsman in the opening chapters of the manga than in the entire anime.

I'd say stick with it and try to enjoy the recap plus all the stuff they left out of the anime. Don't rush and savour it. You'll be glad you did when you've joined us in the present. A new chapter is months and months and months away...
Yeah I heard it takes a long ass time to get updated. Then I'll have to wait for both JoJo AND Berserk...

Battle of Gods. I really enjoyed the original SSJG form, too.
The dynamic between Freeza, Goku and Vegeta is spot-on in Resurection, though. Feels like they haven't skipped a beat in the last 20 years or so.
I was so hoping that Vegeta would get to finish Frieza off.

I think I enjoyed Battle of Gods more, it had the right balance of funny and fighting. The Goku vs Frieza fight was soooooooo well done. I actually really like the SSJG form, it pissed off so many fanboys lol. Beerus was a really good villain too, he wasn't just some evil guy who wants to rule anything, destroying shit is his job and he felt more neutral. Whis was great too.
The Frieza fight in RoF was fuckin great but some of it was just ehhh. It was nice seeing Beerus and Whis again but I didn't like the asspull ending that much. The fight scene with all the Z-Fighters +Roshi and Jaco was awesome, shame Gohan IS A FUCKIN LOSER now.
