Not gonna lie I really enjoyed the first one, surprisingly. It was fucking creepy especially watching the tapes, one of those 'when you see it you'll shit bricks' kind of deals. But sequels are usually awful.... What do you think?

I was thinking about it, it would be pretty neat. Exploring the post-apocalyptic world with a friend or stranger, sharing ammos and supplies while scavenging would be cool, and going into buildings and tunnels. The surface levels of Metro were awesome, and an even bigger more open version would be fun.

Scariness: The Woman in Black. This movie gave me the fucking willies. So damn atmospheric and creepy. The Human Centipede. Say what you will about this movie, but it made me feel uncomfortable and gave me nightmares. The Conjuring. Nuff said.
Awesomeness: 28 Days Later. The way it's shot makes it seem... real? I guess this could go in the scary bit too but whatever. The Lost Boys. Back when vampires were cool. Has an awesome cast and a great soundtrack. Sinister. I don't really know what to say, I loved the monster design. And the tapes were awesome and creepy.

So just some brainstorming...The First Order sounds like trying to revive something from the past, maybe the very first Sith, or how they were in the KOTOR days or even farther back (I know that's not canon now). I'm thinking that Ren is searching for an apprentice he will deem worthy, and it happens to be someone related to Luke, which could only be his son or daughter. And that also makes sense when you think about how obsessed he is with Vader that he would want someone from the same bloodline. At the same time, I feel like as parents Luke, Han and Leia (if they still have kids that is) would not want to abandon their children, but maybe they had to for the sake of the galaxy.
I heard somewhere that the girl (Rey) is Ren's sister. Makes sense, and that's something to remember for further theories.
Also Mark Hamill's voice doesn't sound as gravelly as it does nowadays, I have a feeling in the back of my mind it isn't him narrating it.
I'm pretty sure it is Hamill, and using the audio from RoTJ. I'm thinking if Rey looks too young to be Luke or Han's daughter. This is 30 years after. Maybe she is around 30. I was just brainstorming earlier that Kylo Ren could be Luke's son. Luke tries to train him to become a Jedi, but he fails. He has too much anger. Sooner or later he finds out about Vader and the history of the Empire. He wants that power and authority, so he creates The First Order. He delves into the history of the Sith and we see him go around collecting artifacts and visiting locations from the original trilogy.
This couldn't happen in the span of the movie obviously, but it eventually is revealed that he is a fallen padawan and Luke's son. To buildup the First Order must have taken quite some time.
Ren wants to turn Rey. Imagine the drama. Luke dueling with his own son to save his daughter from turning to the Dark Side. Or I can also see Rey being Leia and Han's daughter. Either way Kylo Ren wants her because of how strong in the force she is. The Chrome Trooper is also force sensitive and is basically Kylo Ren's hound to locate Rey.
Imagine things with Luke coming full circle. He is now fighting his own son just like Vader, but the sides are reversed. Father on the light side, son on the dark. Ren is a madman that causes the galaxy to plunge into chaos once again after a brief period of peace. Luke feels responsible, which would explain the rumors that say he's in exile at the beginning of the film.
Captain Phasma (chrome trooper) has a Wampa-claw hilt Lightsaber, and is inspired by an unused Mcquarrie concept so I'm expecting to see a saber fight between her and Finn.

I heard this newest one was pretty good.
It's really good. I don't think OP has played Xenoverse, or else he'd be optimistic about the future of the franchise.
The shop was sold out when I went to buy it, after that I was just like nah
Yeah, you might wanna change your mind again, because it's really fucking good.
Probably when it's cheaper, don't want to spend £50 on a DBZ game.

They seem to be getting worse and worse. Everyone seems to agree that the Budokai games were the best, and they've changed the new ones in a bad way. Yeah you can fly around and stuff (like in DBZ, lol) but is it actually for the best? I'd like a game like Budokai but with nice graphics and customization.

Yay another dull grey superhero movie from zack snyder....
lol this Batman's voice is worse than Bales.
I'm reserving judgement on his actual voice until I hear it. That was probably his armored suit mic

Could you stop obsessing over this stupid game? Mortal Combat hasn't been any good for years...

Do you think I don't know that? I said it like that to communicate my distaste at that game.
Oh wow, you're hard.

fast and furious. The first 1 and Tokyo drift were good, they were actually about street racing which is what the director of the rest of the movies fucking forgot and now they're all Michael bay tier action movies.
But they finally have decent actors in them. They're way better imo.

What are movies that are pretty much universally known for being bad, yet you enjoy them?
I like Doom and Wild Wild West. Probably cause I saw them when I was younger and didn't know any better, but I can still watch them and get enjoyment there. Also The Room. It's amazing.

Oh shit, this actually looks surprisingly good. Not much of a fan of the Marvel stuff, but this? A superhero movie not marketed at 10 year olds? Would consider watching.
I'm still remaining apprehensive. Hack Snyder is particularly good at marketing his movies really well. Just take a look at The Watchmen and MoS trailers. Executing the actual movies however, is a different story.
Man of Steel was alright

I actually want more scenes with the Stormtroopers as characters. In the other films they only really showed up as faceless mooks doing bad guy stuff. That's why I'm really interested in the new one because it seems Captain Phasma is gonna get up to interesting stuff.
