in light of all this, i have learned myself a neat little term: "pyrrhic victory"

look that up
I'm surprised you've never heard of that before.
Same.

Although I should mean I say that in a way which is complementary too his control of language.
To be honest, I heard it a long while back, but then Total War reminded me of it again. If you get it in that, it's basically the game telling you "lol u suck".

If Hillary wins I'm not going to pout like a 6 year old girl. Remain side needs to man the fuck up.

What does that have to do with anything?

Yes, I'll move to Canada. Or shit maybe the UK now.

But I won't be online whining about it like a 6 year old girl.
Moving out of the country is like the ultimate form of bitching, you alt.

Gonna take a nap for a few hours. Good luck you Brits. The old people ruined your lives yuk yuk yuk

It's okay, we'll be the ones crying across the pond when Trump wins.

Looks more interesting than the JJ stuff honestly.

TFA was alright but I didn't think it was anything special. This looks like it'll be a lot better.
TFA was basically just a way to kickstart Star Wars again

Don't forget that London's major is apparently talking about keeping London as a part of the EU, somehow. Imagine, London as a EU territory.
That one sounds far more reactionary than anything else. That one won't happen.

So let's sum this up

UK decides to leave

Scottland will probably split off from the UK to rejoin the EU

N. Ireland is already talking about reuniting with Ireland to become whole again

The United Kingdom is quite literally falling apart due to a lot of misinformation as already pointed out here, and old people who are selfish I guess since they'll be dead before it actually happens. 300+ years of the United Kingdom is most likely gonna break in our lifetime, and David Cameron is gonna go down in history as the one that let it happen.

...wow

Kinda leaves you speechless, doesn't it? What a motherfucker.
This is likely just the start. A lot of Leave is based on simple misinformation. It won't be much longer before the rest becomes more obvious too.
Yeah

but it's not like they're leaving tomorrow, so they have time to sort shit out.

damn, I wanted the EU gone, not have Britain turn into some conservative shithole
Them leaving the EU doesn't suddenly make them conservative

and even if it did, their most conservative people would be considered a Democrat here in the US.

I'm honestly sure things will be fine. People tend to overreact about a lot of political things.

at least until the UK breaks apart because Scotland wants to stay in and threatened independence if England left, and they have easily a reason to vote to leave now instead of just "FREEEEEEDOM".

Andddddd it's over.

Typical liberals. Act like babies and then give up after one day. Fucking losers.
and typical conservatives continue to get run by the NRA

see? I can do it too and play the victim game.

They're not all liberals in the slightest. Stop using the word as some stupid insult.

Both parties get "run" by the NRA.

If the dems were so invested in gun control, why didn't they pass this back in 2006-2009 when they had control of congress?

Answer: Because neither party (especially the democrats) give a fuck about you or anything unless its an election year.

Why wasn't Obama so outspoken about this from 2008-2012 when every night there were dozens of murders in his hometown of chicago?

Answer: Because his pussy ass was too interested in getting reelected.
It was like gay marriage. Republicans were easily bashing it, and democrats were reluctant to talk about it (due to the Clintons tugging the Democrats to the right/center back in the 90's). Now however after a lot of events, especially within the last 6 months, Democrats are openly embracing it and making it their platform like Gay Marriage rights were.

Does that make it right? Absolutely not. Frankly it took too long for them to do it, because at the end of the day yeah. Back then the support for such legislation wasn't nearly as high as it is now (90%+ want background checks, 80%ish Republicans also want it).

I'm just glad there are Republicans working their asses off for SOME kind of compromise. Lindsey Graham has been someone I've liked more and more this entire election cycle since he's actually sticking by his ideals and not just caving in.
