The victory of Rome over Carthage.

Other than the gargantuan amount of would-be archaeological evidence that the Romans destroyed after the conclusion of the Third Punic War, how exactly was their triumph over them tragic?

I was mostly not being serious, but it would have been interesting to have had the Celtic cultures survive for longer, and possibly to the present day. As the Carthaginians weren't conquerors in the same sense as the Romans were.
But if Rome didn't win, we wouldn't exist as we do now.

I'm okay with that.
I'm not. I like to be alive and stuff

besides, the Barbarian Kingdoms got the last laugh after Rome fucked em all, and we got many diverse nations

Yeah, but the Celts didn't though, and that's what I'm curious about.
Meh. The British Isles were going to get invaded and fucked over either way by other nations, as history has shown. Be it the Danes, or the Normans.

Are we entering the phase now where the No Mans Sky apologists come into dominance? I remember the same thing happening with Destiny. A bunch of hype, a bunch of promised shit and expectations, and all we get is a gutted game that's barebones.

You can enjoy a game that isn't all that great (and by that, I mean a barebones game, bugs, etc. Factual stuff that's there, not opinionated things like how fun you have exploring). It's something I never understood with people. You can like a game that's factually not finished (let alone crash a lot). There is no problem with that. But to be in denial and act like nothing is wrong and support them 100% without offering your own criticisms, is bonkers to me.

You're supporting a bad practice in the game industry that's already run wild where they release unfinished products because publishers are rushing them to all hell just to make their money, with little to no regards to the consumer. Hold the companies you love accountable while at the same time, enjoying the product. Not act like nothing is wrong at all and have to defend it 100%.

If you have a best friend that fucks up, are you going to say he did nothing wrong? Or call him out while still being there for him?

Edit: I like how he adds a "BUT" at the end of every single criticism he admits is in there (along with saying "but that's my opinion!" at every unpopular opinion he has of his own, as if to somehow distance himself from it), as if he needs to justify to himself why he doesn't love it 1000%.

but yeah, listen to that angryjoe clip he threw in--"WAH, WE WERE FUCKING LIED TO!!!"

he genuinely sounds like a little fucking kid
Well gamers were literally lied to. It's not a good thing to do. It's a horrible horrible practice, and I can't think of a game that's done it so badly like this since Colonial Marines.

People who spent $60 on it have every single right to be upset that the developers SAID that stuff was in the game. Instead of downplaying it, they pulled a Trump and kept doubling down again and again, and all they got was an unfinished Alpha game.

And even if you throw the false information aside, that's not excuse for how much the game costs with what little their is, along with just how shitty the game runs. So many bugs, crashes, horrible fov for people on console, etc. It's bad.

I turned down my aim sensitivity in advanced settings, so whenever I zoom in it slows down. Wow, what a difference it has made. I can actually hit things now and STAY on target steadily without freaking out too far.

It's really made it more enjoyable for me. I can still look around faster, but slow it when I ads.
This

I spent a couple of hours tweaking my settings until I was happy with them, then it was 10x easier to play and have fun rather than suffer and die constantly
Yeah I thought I was just shit, but once I got this down, I consistently got more kills, and actually stayed on target with my SMG when firing. Makes it feel like I'm not losing control, and sorta feels like aim assist is back. Just in my head, but still.

The video quality is a little worse, but yeah.

Also, if that's the FINAL sound for the AK, I am going to kill someone. Very few guns have sounded as close to their real counterpart, than CoD 4 and the AK-47. Why would you EVER try to change that?
To be fair that wasn't the AK-47, that was the 74u, but yeah I'm worried that they fucked up the AK-47's sound.

I'm not liking the sound of the .50 cal and Desert Eagle at all though. They fucked them up in MW3 and here in 2016 they still fuck it up.
Oh right, my mistake. Either way, compared to the original, it sounds SO BAD. They said they're placeholders, but IDK

Fox News.
Why? There are conservative media sites that are far more accurate than Fox.

Well actually, Fox News isn't even that bad until they get around the talk table and talk about politics.

Cause I hate using the internet for my news.

I was loving CNN until this obviously biased election coverage.

I know Fox is biased, but at least I can enjoy watching it and agree with their opinions.
Eh, fair enough I guess.

And yeah, CNN has really tipped their hand this election go.

A mommy's love for her son is the purest form of love!

Spoiler
Real talk, as fucking HOT as it is, incest leads to a lot of potential problems. First of all we have the obvious risk of pregnancy, which is known to cause birth defects. But on top of that we find potential psychological effects between mother and son and father and daughter, due to the nature of a romantic relationship being very different from that of parent/child.
What about brother/sister~? That's more so what I have in mind.

As long as they don't have kids, it's consensual, and they're within like the moderately same age range for the most part, I have no problem with it.

Why would age matter but being in the same family not

Excluding children of course
I was thinking children, which is why I said it, really. I was thinking a dad touching like his 14 year old daughter, which is sick.

did you not watch the video? maybe you should just learn to aim
Just did. Hm, maybe I'll try a different one. Or maybe the guys health was so low that it didn't take much to kill him. He also got a headshot so that's pretty much an instant thing.

But I will say that the pistol (default one) is awful. I shot someone who was laying down, point blank six times in the back and he didn't die. That's crazy.

I know I know, "aim for the head", but lighting someone up six times standing over their back and they don't die, is rather odd.

People saying SMGS are weak or need a bit more range baffles me, they devastate at close range for a reason, and you can hip fire the damn trench gun and hit people still.

Maybe picking a different variant?

I am also getting kills much further than whats being complained about with said SMGS, they feel fine and theyre not weak, the fact everyone's running with them on rush is saying as much.
As mentioned in another thread

I felt severely gimped by it's bullet velocity and range. Not only that, the first semi has better hip fire and range than the SMG's making them bottom feeder like in BF4.

25 Damage at 5 meters drops off to 12 damage at 8 meters. That's "range" in Battlefield. And if the range wasn't so shit, I wouldn't mind the velocity.
