FFVI technically doesn't have a lead. Tina is just the fans' consensus since you play as her the most as well as her having the most compelling character development and dat cool Esper ability.

I mean, I like WaW, I'm just saying that Lemon's point that WaW being the last non-reskin is just simply false.
O True I suppose, but I feel WaW, while being a re-skin in terms of perks and all that, really had enough of a unique atmosphere and setting, that it set it apart. It nailed the brutality and darkness and almost haunting feeling of WW2 so amazingly well. And that ending still gives me chills.

I don't see why you're singling out BO2 as a bad game if you're saying that all of them are the same. That would make even CoD 4 and WaW bad games. Because they weren't copy/paste of each other
Every CoD since WaW has been a reskinned MW with more stupid shit added each time. BO and BO2 aren't exceptions.
MW2 added more to the franchise than WaW did, lol.

This is true. WaW was following CoD 4's thing, but I think people over time just appreciate the simplicity and way it was implemented in WaW. Pair that with the amazing atmosphere and memorable quotes, along with zombies, and you have a game people will love to remember. While MW2 did add a lot, it was also when CoD was the most unstable since Activision fired the two lead heads and everyone left in protest. So we were left with a game where glitches were exploited so frequently that it really killed the experience for a lot of people. By the time it DID stabilize, the damage had already been done. Kinda like Windows Vista if you think about it.

the only FF i ever got close to beating was FF6. it was amazing, but my laptop fucked up and i lost all my progress. i need to go back and finish it.
FF6 has the best female lead protag in the series. Lightning can't come close to touching her. And she has the best damn theme/opening to a FF

With the power of 8th gen and current PC's we would get a WW2 game that we haven't played before. Instead of having a section of D-Day we would end up getting the majority of a beach or something like CoD 2's Day but on a larger scale. The battles would be a lot closer to the real thing due to system power allowing that.

I was never too keen on the WW2 shit, anyways. The only thing it could really offer me is the atmosphere, which Dice and all the other dudebro developers don't give a dusty fuck about.
At the end of the day, they're still going to incorporate this "future-tech" into an older setting.
I dunno, I thought Call of Booty WaW captured the WW2 atmosphere perfectly. The game was a great outing to the overdone WW2 genre. I just feel we've been away long enough for a refreshment.
