New Zealand makes a breakthrough in Potassium nitrate, the first gun powder is invented.

Woah woah woah, you might want to slow down bit. Don't go making firepower yet.
New Zealand starts experimenting with sulfur, charcoal, and potassium nitrate.
Have been researching this for two years.

It should take much longer to get to that point, just saying.

Alright. Instead of going to the carribean islands. I'm going to send the same amount of ships and troops to Africa. Is that reasonable?

China demands katana schematics from Japan.
Japan declines. And our swords are basically at the same level for the moment. Try again once we get steel.
China informs Japan that it doesn't get to decline. And while steel jians are better than iron katanas, steel katanas are superior to both.

China asks again for katana schematics.

Why can't I decline? It's my country, my weapons. And there are no schematics, our sword masters are the only ones in the world that know how to forge katana's. and why do you always get on my ass every time we play? You must really hate me  ;D

[You haven't researched steel yet.]

Japan begins sailing to the carribean islands. 5,000 ashigaru,3000 bowmen, and 2,000 swordsmen are being sent on five ships. Expected by page 20.
That was just not possible during the iron age
How? I have ships. And they had maps back then.
It takes more than just maps to sail from Japan to the Carribean, in the real world you would need advanced navigation to sail through south Asia, under Africa, and still find your way across the Atlantic to the Caribbean.
Which is why I set the arrival time to page 20,that's nine years. Which is a reasonable time to achieve such a feat.

Chinese annexation of Mongolia and Korea complete. China enslaves Mongolian and Korean natives, forcing them to work in menial jobs like food and steel production. Displaced Chinese workers are drafted into the army, and begin training.
20,000 soldiers — 10%

China begins the annexation of Northern India.

[Will update the map when I get on my computer.]
The shogunate wishes to have an alliance.

Soldiers: 100,000 Japanese samurai
(25,000 katana,25,000 ashigaru, and 25,000 bowmen)
120 Ninja that Will be availabe for hire from other countries
Naval ships:60 transport ships made of wood and steel, 20 invasion vessels.

Remember, we are starting in the Iron Age era. You're not going to have an army that is double your population size, especially with 100,000 people. Naval Ships also have to be constructed over time - especially if you're going to have fifty

Well since I'm starting later I thought it would be reasonable to have an army of that size. Since everyone else has a larger army than me anyway.
I have no army
You're one person.
