Ahh. Found out a use for the experimental fibers

Japan creates a new type of substance, that they have named "quiviut" that seems to  retain heat pretty well.  And is very soft. This should help greatly in the Antarctica expedition.

Is this ok?

China creates the Shòuyī Bái (白寿衣), the "cultural authority" of China. Members are extremely highly trained, having to endure borderline-torturous initiation rituals. Shòuyī agents are currently only twenty in number. Their training consists primarily of stealth, subterfuge, and coercion.
Shòuyī Bái is now forty in number. All agents are given carbon steel MK2 revolvers and katanas. Five agents are sent into Mongolia to ensure that another rebellion isn't being planned. Ten are assigned to serve as the Emperor's elite guard. Two agents are sent into Japan.
Shòuyī agents succesfully infiltrate Japanese government. Details to follow.  Agents in Mongolia have identified the identity of a prominent union leader, who seems to be organizing anti-establishment protests throughout the region. The agents have been ordered to take appropriate action against the insurgent.

Woah woah woah.  Your dudes from china can't get into my country that easy. More than half of my navy has just been sitting there.

Gaming / got to level 20 in a week -______- (short destiny review)
« on: September 29, 2014, 10:19:54 PM »
what the actual fuck. this game has been in production for 10 years, and THIS is what I get? I literally got the game on Monday and got to level 20 on sunday night! While only playing for about 3 hours a day due to school and other things, now I know there are still 10 more levels to go through with all of this "light" stuff(which is absolutely pointless btw) but I don't even feel like doing it anymore. This game is so fucking easy its unbelievable, heroic strikes feel like the normal difficulty on halo. And the bosses are all the same thing but only reskinned. Theres no story, it's literally "this thing called the traveller saved us from this shit called the darkness and now its your turn." that's the whole fucking story right there. And all Crucible is(said to be an "unprecedented multiplayer experience") is nothing but  "OHHHH I GOT MEH SKIL CUZ OF MEH FUSION RIFLE HAR HERPADERP!"  and "IMA ONE SHOT YOU WITH MEH SHOTGUN!" and don't even get me started with the squealers I constantly run into. This is utter bulshit, and thank god I only bought it for 30$ from a friend instead of blowing 60$ on it. Because I wouldn't buy this game for 15$ after knowing how much of a shistain it is.

please forgive all of the rage in this review, but this just sickens me.

Kevlar can witshstand saw blades and other sharp objects similar to that. why the fuck do you think they have Kevlar gloves for woodsmen and jobs in that particular field ? And by "virtually impenetrable" I mean by the standards of the time period not modern day's standards. we don't have bullets sooo why the fuck does it matter, and just because it can cause a bruise doesn't mean it can penetrate it. Not to mention I did my research with the fibers, what the fuck else do you think "research with experimental fibers" means?

Das said it best:
Quote
Wait... isn't a
synthetic fiber dependent on the ability to manufacture polymers with ridiculously concentrated sulfuric acid in a sterile lab environment that can't even be hand spun afterwords a little... ahead of our time here?

And yeah, sharp objects can easily penetrate Kevlar. The whole point is that anything with a continuous driving force behind it (such as a stab) can tear through the fiber with practically no effort, but something that has a fixed driving force (such as a bullet) has a harder time doing it. But it's still possible.

And yeah, we do have guns and bullets now. Where have you been?
*sigh* fine. then what the fuck do I change the research to?

Due to the research with experimental fibers, Japan has discovered an extremely strong substance that they have named "Kevlar"
The fiber seems to be virtually inpenatrable.  And is left unharmed when met with a blade. Japan begins creating light armor with layers of Kevlar. Due page 62.

Reichmaster Das, in his senile old age, asks the Shogun if his crazy gunpowder devices could shoot holes in the clouds.
We would also like additional food supplies.

1000 crates of food and supplies sent to Germany. And our cannons have to
Abide by the laws of gravity. So shooting them at the clouds is not recommended.

When did you colonize South America?

Yemen Colonization - 15%
UAE Colonization - 15%
Somalian Colonization - 30%
Journey to South America - 5%
Meant to say South Africa. That country is rich in diamonds and gold

Japan asks for permission to expand to Africa as well.

You don't need to ask permission dude. If there's a piece of land available, go for it.

I just don't want to start any quarrels.

The rebel states declare themselves independent from the United States, and call themselves the Federation of States of America. The US Army returns to Texas and prepare for an attack on the rebels, the National Guard is pulled out. Virginia stays loyal to the United States.

Japan has plenty of men to spare for assistance, if you wish.
