Serious / Re: Seven dead in Shoreham aeroplane crash

Some sources are saying that the pilot survived, and was pulled from the wreckage.

Any updates on that? Seems unlikely.

Also, better video:

Oops. I saw people quoting the one where the two British guys were reacting so nonchalantly, and assumed it was the one in the OP. My bad.

I would try to do good, but also do some naughty things for fun.

Like poke sexy butts with my pinkie and overly moisten everybody's bread right when they were making a sandwich.

You can get less time in prison for killing people than for this.

Autism galore.

But welcome anyway.

« on: August 17, 2015, 04:39:32 PM »
I'm in full agreement with the philosophy behind Veganism. I've also come to accept that I simply don't have enough willpower to stop eating meat. That being said, I've made efforts to cut down on eating animal products as best I can. I don't live on my own yet, so unfortunately I don't have the choice to outright stop allowing meat in my house. I honestly doubt I'll be able to cut it out of my diet, even when I'm older, but that doesn't stop me from acknowledging that it's wrong of me.

It's one of those things where it's really just the practice. If all farm animals were treated well and given good living conditions before a painless, immediate death, then I wouldn't have an issue eating meat. But that simply isn't the case; the meat industry is fucking disgusting as it is. It's something I plan on becoming active in spreading awareness of.

First relationship was last year, it ended badly for me.

The two of us, a year later now, are back together.

Yeah, yeah, risky move. We had no idea what we were doing, but have found a much more solid foundation to stay together. We're very happy and supportive now. No guarantees about the future, but things are going very well between us. Very happy as is.

I guess I still qualify as an existential nihilist, but I don't really do much in terms of acting on that belief.

I use to be a lot of "isms," but I've grown really disinterested in all of the metaphysical stuff.

I guess I still qualify as an existential nihilist, but I don't really do much in terms of acting on that belief. I'm here, that's fine with me, I'm gonna make the best of my existence. I don't care if its pointless, I'm having fun.

I forget all of the philosophy books I read, and never really bothered to stick to one specific philosopher I really valued.

Lifting.
holy shit how did I forget about this

Jim, get into lifting too
The past two years of my life have been the best years of my life, and I attribute it to me getting into bodybuilding. It's good for your health, both physically and mentally, and it raises your self confidence to a much higher level. Passes time in a productive, challenging, and enjoyable way. Couple it with improved diet and you'll feel much better overall about your mind and body.
I exercise and eat a healthy diet, but I've never enjoyed exercising outside of a few sports. I can't see lifting as being something I'd enjoy doing
You should at least give it a shot.

PSU has been a teir-1 troll on Bungie-related sites for, like, six years now.

You'd think the fragmented remnants of Bungie.net would've picked up on it by now. If you want the guy to stop messing with you, don't fuel the fire.
This site isn't for legitimate discussion, it's for flaming, shitposting, spamming memes and anime pics, and other dumb shit. Stop trying to make sense.
Are you meaning to tell me I've stumbled into a meme carnival?

Or you could, I dunno, realize that some folks are just rolling with it too. Everybody knows the whole PSU deal by now. And some choose just to roll with it anyway.

It's a bit like interactive theatre at this point.
That's retarded. It's the equivalent of arguing with a salad.

Ya'll looked better with hair though.

I wish you luck on the journey to achieve and reclaim what was lost. Props for trying though.
Dude, what. If I'm remembering Verb's old haircut, this is fifteen times better.

Short hair almost always makes a guy seem more mature and attractive.

I'm sorry but personally on my end of things, I just can't take buzzcutters seriously. Short hair, yeah. Buzzcuts, na. I don't have it in me to take the look seriously.
"Have it in you?"

Have what in you?

I also got a haircut recently.
That's a lot different-looking than the person I saw sitting next to a shopped-in image of Twilight Sparkle some two or three years ago.
Did that actually happen?

The Flood / Re: Did Interstellar Suck?
« on: August 06, 2015, 07:51:26 PM »
Seeing it in theaters was amazing just because of the intensity of some of the scenes. The initial wormhole jump was honestly one of the best theater experiences of my entire life because of how loud and crazy it was; both conceptually and with how the effects and audio were handled. I'll be honest, I didn't quite follow the end of the movie with the whole fifth-dimensional causality loop, but I didn't care. The movie was extremely entertaining, so I loved it. Great acting and an awesome soundtrack.

Plus I'm a space dweeb so I was kind of biased towards it, anyway.

Got em.
Dude she was pretty fucking hot, let's be real.
Nah. there's just something really off with her face, bro.
I have a thing for redheads, her face was totally fine to me, and her body was nuts. Everything checked out for a fourteen year-old version of me to white knight the shit out of that woman.
