I'm just happy we're through with the intense heat, and I have an excuse to wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt like the lazy son of a bitch that I truly am.

No, most of the people in the theater when my friends and I saw it were kids and parents.

No, because my job never pushed me to that limit despite having an enormous amount of drawbacks.

There were many occasions where I was fed up with the politics of my work, and I've pretty much made the decision I'm not returning there next Summer, but I never considered quitting.

Probably Diverse Systems of Throb by Bassnectar, considering I've been a diehard fan for years but seldom explored his work before 2007. I'm probably gonna buy it off of his website tonight or tomorrow, I need a new album to listen to start-to-finish while I'm at the gym- And this album actually has one of my favorite songs by him. It's a wonder I don't already have it.

I haven't done any research into the topic, but just based on principle, I'd imagine that the fur trade is far from an ethical one- So it might warrant disgracing it. I personally would never do something like this in public because of social repercussions, but I'd rather have people be obnoxious about something ethical than unethical.

I thought it was alright, although Ezra was being a huge duck (I guess that's kind of the point, really).

I want to see more of the Bendu, and considering we know that Ezra gets the holocron back at some point during the season, we certainly should.

I absolutely agree, there are all the other letters in the alphabet for you to choose, please don't make it one that can be so easily misunderstood when written down. The other offenders of this are "n" and "h" if they're ever somehow used in the same problem. Why anyone would do this intentionally, I have no idea, but it's certainly happened to me before.

Serious / Re: Trump and racism
« on: September 18, 2016, 10:13:37 PM »
Trump being "Big" in a previous context isn't synonymous with the amount of fame and recognition he now garners. And, like I said, vocal racism doesn't really have a reason to spill out unless he's advocating for something related to it, which as far as I know, he didn't have a reason to do (At least to a considerable degree) until this whole presidency business of his began. Also, I really only hear about Trump saying racist things on current events, not sure what you mean about them only being referenced from the past.

Nobody ever accused Trump of racism until he ran against the Democrats. Funny thing, that.
I'd suspect that has a lot to do with the fact that his notoriety has increased dramatically since the beginning of his campaign. He's been a well-known businessman for some time, but the entirety of the nation didn't have all their eyes on him until this election. On top of that, Trump probably didn't have as much of a reason to voice his political/social views until now. He may have always harbored those feelings, but unless they're given out to the public on a massive scale, why would anyone really bother to pay attention to them?

The Flood / Re: i've been thinking a bit about friendship lately.
« on: September 18, 2016, 08:22:36 PM »
Someone who's cheating on their wife isn't someone that I'd like to be friends with. At the minimum, I'd express how upset I was with their behavior and encourage them to, you know, stop doing it. I don't think it's accurate to say that friendship is defined by unquestioned loyalty, friendship is more so making sure that you look out for that individual and care for them. If they're doing something wrong, the friendliest thing you can do is urge them to stop and warn them of the consequences.

Baked in the oven with some olive oil, sprinkle some salt on that shit? Delicious.

Intent, although that's very difficult to verify once something has been done.

Makes sense for Danny, but not for those two.

The Flood / Re: think about your most deeply held beliefs
« on: September 13, 2016, 09:00:32 PM »
If your beliefs are determined by the opinions of others, you're holding your beliefs for the wrong reasons. You should reason things because you can demonstrate that they're true, not because a bunch of people are going to agree with you.

You simply have to be honest, and point out all of the flaws in his writing. Sure, it may be somewhat discouraging for him to read your criticisms, but ultimately it should be his main priority to improve his writing skills; he is an English major, after all. An unfortunate consequence of trying to be really good at something is that, at some point before you become an expert, you're going to have to be really bad at it.

The Flood / Re: Danny Phantom 10 years later
« on: September 13, 2016, 08:52:38 PM »
This show had a pretty abrupt ending, and it really pissed me off. In the final episodes of season three, Valerie swore she'd get revenge on against Vlad after she learned that he was using her the entirety of the show. In the end, that conflict never ended up being resolved, because the show ended with a movie not long after the final season ended. She said something like, "I'm coming for you, Vlad Masters," and then he ended up getting defeated by Danny.

On top of that, the evil Danny from the alternative timeline was teased to be returning at the end of the special he appeared in, but he never ended up coming back, either. I felt like, although Vlad had been a huge pain in the ass for the whole show, it would've been more appropriate for future Danny to be the final villain that the main characters needed to defeat.

I loved the fuck out of this show, and it's easily one of my favorites from when I was a kid, but there were so many things that were left unfinished about it. I'd love to see a reboot in this style just to tie up loose ends.

Never seen this before in my life.

I have a legitimate phobia of spiders, but am also weirdly fascinated by them and how they hunt. Like I really enjoy learning about spiders, despite thinking they're the worst thing ever.

I can't dance at things like that because the music is fucking terrible.

Didn't realize I had a dancer inside of me until I went to this crazy EDM show with a dubstep artist I really like, then I went fucking hard and haven't done anything like it since. You just get lost in the music, but if you're not into what you're listening to, then there's no way to feel comfortable doing it.

The suffering of liking weird-ass genres, man.
Yeah I love dancing at edm shows

For like 5 minutes they played some hardstyle type mix and I was the only one of my friends digging it
