You're denying a person of their RIGHTS by preventing them from doing something that has no direct or inherent impact on you or anybody else. It's essentially the same thing as a smoking or liquor ban. Smoking should be banned. Liquor, no. But smoking is objectively terrible and shouldn't be permitted. Guns are similar. They produce a lot of bad, and zero good. They're useless and dangerous, and nobody deserves to own one. I couldn't give any less of a damn if you believe I'm infringing on your "Rights," by taking something out of your possession that results in people dying. "But blah blah blah results in people dying, too!" Fantastic, but those things are not literally designed to kill people. I don't need a fast car or a bottle of fireball, either, and those things together kill more here than guns do.
Fuck, I don't need a swimming pool, and those alone kill more than long guns every year.
Those things are also not meant exclusively for the purpose of killing. And you can't bring a swimming pool to a school and kill people with it lol

Sorry fam but nobody has the right to determine what private property another person can own so long as they are not actively interfering with another person.
The consequences of gun ownership in the United States have given appreciable enough reason to argue that having one doesn't really do anything productive and, at its worst, is responsible for mass killings of innocent people. I vehemently disagree with the idea that I'm depriving any person of their "Rights" by preventing them from attaining something created for the purpose of killing. You don't need a gun.

No, and I can't really think of a rational argument suggesting the alternative. The capacity to attain and maintain power is not remotely suggestive of ethical prioritization and, to be honest, it more or less has always suggested the opposite. That isn't to say that you can't have a perfectly moral, rational motive for attempting to achieve a greater level of autonomy, but few people make that effort with non-selfish interests in mind.

I can't really think of one specific action that I'd really be able to say was the, "Worst" thing I've ever done, but I can think of a period of my life that I'm appalled I went through. The entirety of my first few years of high school were spent degrading and belittling other people to compensate for my insecurities about my body, personality, and interests. It was completely inexcusable, and I've done my best to apologize to everyone I ever insulted. It was the most shameful time of my life, and I'm so glad I moved beyond that sort of attitude.

Again, I'm not about to get into an argument about film, but just because a director might have intentionally focused drastically more on one element of a good action film, doesn't mean their negligence towards the others can be ignored because it was "Intentional." You could apply this to any bad movie and justify its quality with, "Well, that's the kind of film he meant it to be."
He didn't neglect them, though
