Not sure if good or bad.

Good. After 15 years she cheated on me. She told me the night my youngest was born, 2 hours before I was to get on a plane and start the adoption process
What a cunt lmao

I'm not a biologist, so I don't have a great answer.

But if I had to guess, the answer is that natural selection still exists, but its significance is basically negligible.

I don't think the suggestion is to conduct them in Syria...
Where do you think the records come from, fam?
Uh, other countries? I don't know; background checks aren't exclusive to just what a citizen's government can offer. It's not like all records of these peoples' existence was destroyed. Technology makes that pretty difficult.

1806
I see no reason why we shouldn't accept a good handful of refugees from Syria. We'd probably just need to have decent background checking.
>background checks in a non-functioning government

How are they supposed to conduct background checks in fuckin Syria? They're literally not even functioning right now.

It rubs it's legs together when you piss it off.
Actually it kicks little hairs off of its ass.

Goliath bird eaters also rub their legs together to make a hissing noise whenever they feel threatened, though.
Oooooh

Got mah spiders mixed up

Refusal to shelter refugees is a federal power, not a state one.

All that the state governments can do is say "Fuck you," and not build accommodations for the people that come in.

In which case, good luck living with the guilt of letting thousands of people starve and die homeless.

Am I just an asshole for thinking that these moderate Muslims that are fleeing from Islamic government tyranny should group together and fight for their own land back instead?
Yes. Nobody is obligated to fight.

Last time they did something like this, didn't it compromise U.S. intelligence operations they had going on? Exposing known terrorist agents or their locations does nothing except undermine the professionals that are tracking the same thing and using it to build personnel lists and strike profiles.
Did it? I certainly wouldn't know.

"They can't do shit!"

"The won't do anything!"

Well, they did some things:

Yeah, it's nothing major, but it's more than most of us are doing, so kudos to them, I guess.

How old is your Cocoa?

Cocoa is pushing five and a half years.

Biscuit died when she was about four and a half, and I have no idea why. Must've been an illness or condition we didn't know about.

Realistically speaking

What political experience does he have?

Obama had what? 6 years as a senator. Not much experience.

I'll take a business man over a politician anyday.
6 years as a senator is pretty substantial compared to nothing.
It's still zero executive experience though, which is something a president should have. The white house is no place for on the job training.
Does Trump have executive experience?
Is this a legitimate question?

I'm pretty sure his entire campaign (aside from wall building) has been to remind people that he's a some big shot CEO.
Okay

So like

I'm pretty new to political discussion

But being a real estate developer and being the President don't seem very similar to me

You had a dwarf hamster that lived to be three? That's bonkers, they usually don't live much longer than a year (If that).

I had two guinea pigs.

One just died in August for reasons I don't know, because she wasn't particularly old (May your soul rest in the sunny fields of pet heaven, Biscuit).

Cocoa, the other one (Older, too) is doing just fine. Then again, Biscuit didn't show any symptoms of illness. I just found her dead one day. That fucking sucked, she was a great pet. I'd seen her moving around, eating, and drinking the day before I found her.

GAH. I want Biscuit back. Cocoa needs her buddy again...

Plus hamsters die in like a year and a half usually.

Shit pets (RIP Bisco and Sparky).
Or less if they eat the metal wire net that makes the roof of their cage while Shawshanking their way to freedom. (RIP Scooter)
All of my hamsters lived to be 4-5 years old on average. I had a few that lived until they were 6...
I've had a lot of hamsters...
Do you know what breed they were?

Mine both kicked the bucket within two years, and we took damn good care of them. Both were Syrian.

If your rodents ever escape their cages, look near appliances that produce heat (Refrigerators, Dishwashers, etc).

They always go for warmth.
