I get that people are upset about specific custom games but I feel like a lot of people are underestimating the creativity of the halo community. I am sure there will be plenty of fun custom game types to go along with forge maps. What people should actually be worried about is a file sharing system. Forge maps and Custom games are wastes of time for a community if there is no good way to share them.
If there's no infection, this game is literally useless to me. 95% of the amazing memories I have with Halo customs are Infection gametypes. If it was in H2A, 343 has zero excuse for not having it ship with Halo 5. They're idiots.

Forge means NOTHING to me without Infection. Sorry, but infection gametypes are literally the funnest aspect of Halo custom games for a giant chunk of the community. Until it's in the game, I'm not touching customs at all.

Islam is theologically, exegetically and historically more likely to inculcate a culture of violence. It's no surprise the Qur'an is much shorter than the Bible, or that Islamic scholars have historically read the scripture in a way which appeals to incredibly conservative Salafists like ISIS, or that apostates like the moderate Ahmadiyyah are being killed as a result.
I don't doubt that the Koran contains more violent writings compared to other religious texts. That being said, because I haven't read it, and am pretty ignorant on the culture and teachings of Islam as a whole, I don't view myself as qualified whatsoever to criticize it. If you had to split it, what percentage of the conflict in the Middle East do you believe is directly a result of Islamic ideology, and what percentage is a result of geopolitical disagreements? Because I sure as hell don't know anymore. Everyone tells me different things, and I don't know what to believe. All I know is that anti-Islamic sentiments piss me off because people constantly generalize and belittle the Muslim population for crimes they aren't responsible for.

Not only is this a bullshit term, it's untrue. Saying Islamic values are at odds with American way of life is a FACT.
The entire structure of America is wrong according to Islam.
It's not like I really care that Islam in specific is at odds with American values. I argue many aspects of Christianity don't coincide with what the United States strives to be for many of us, maybe not to the degree of Islam, but it's all stupid to me. Without sounding like an edgy teenager, I think religion as a whole is stupid. The point is, the presence of unwarranted animosity towards Muslims is stupid and counterproductive to the greater purpose of stopping extreme forms of Islam from rising. Gotta be peaceful, accepting, and human towards people if you want them to ease off of fundamentalist ideals. Show them what's so good about alternative ways of living, instead of just denouncing everything they do.
