So explain to me why the only books that WE have ever read are all revisionist history, but that you yourself - in your enlightened state - have managed to get to the truth of it all.
The vast majority all history is revisionist, and its unlikely we'll ever get to the bottom of all of it.
But a lot of work has gone into correcting many biased accounts of history, and the civil war is probably one of the most studied.
A lot like correction of American revisionism of their revolution, it's all free information you can access online or at your local library.
Could you give me some links to these corrections? I'd like to see them.

Because the physics and animations in the game are tied to being 60 FPS. In other words if the game went down to 30 FPS, the game would be like playing it at 0.5x speed. If it went up to 120 FPS, it would be effectively double the speed.
Not to be confused to games normally handle extra frames, which just make the game look smoother instead of making objects change speed.

Anyway, to maintain 60fps all they need to do is lower the graphical fidelity like in previous Halos.
You can assume that, but then you have to think. Surely 343 thought about doing that, and in the end that probably didn't work. Just by rending the two screens at half the resolution won't mean each screen can stay at a solid 60. The early Halo's also didn't stay at a solid 30 during split screen, this is very evident in Halo Reach where, despite the texture quality going down the toilet, it had a lot of frame drops. There again, who knows? Maybe they're trying to make people buy another Xbox One to play with friends.

Too bad Planetside 2 has sucked shit since the lattice update. Otherwise I'd still be playing it.
The lattice update massively improved the game, most players loved the update when it first came out and they still do. It fixed a large problem with regional capture, and made it so idiots didn't just focus the crown all day, just most of the day.
It's kind of hard to say that most players loved the update when the games population tanked after its release. Also it made things worse since now biolabs couldn't be taken stealthily (forcing you to engage in meat grinder simulator 2013) and you still had crown issues due to the way the lattice lanes were laid out.
