It's not like they were going out of their way to hurt people really.

Hardships bringing you closer to God isn't really something that means you want to harm people. A lot of people believe that, it doesn't mean they will go out of their way to harm people at all.
Which is totally why she denied anaesthetics to people.

They were still great people who were caring and did great things to help those in need, far from being horrible people.

Yes, you should buy the SOFS edition as it has all the DLC already included. If you haven't played the Dark souls 1 though, you should go ahead and play that first if possible, the PC version requires tweaking though.

Are you on the base game or Scholar of the first sin? It's not an issue most of the time, I rarely get invaded in my game. In fact my first play through had 10 invaders max.
Just burn an effigy at bonfire if getting invaded is too much.

speaking of which but kinda off topic, I started DArk Souls 2 today and the game pissed me off. Everything was going relitively fine until the game out of nowhere magically adjusted it's difficulty and enemies I was breezing through before suddenly became all but unkillable.
For example, This one ogre/turlte looking guy who normally lust blows himself up just started walking through the explosive barrels without detonating them, and I swear every other enemy just got 20 times faster , and on top of that the game placed a friendly AI in a place that made him look like an enemy, and now that I'm forced to kill him i'm fucked.
I don't mind the silly insta-kill booby-traps around corners, since it is Dark Souls after all, but when the game pulls crap like that, then I have a problem.
I don't see the issue here, the turtle knight sometimes just doesn't trigger the explosives. It's not the game magically pulling random crap at all. The AI's never get magically faster, that just doesn't happen and it's all in your head. And which NPC was it? What did he/she look like? Because I remember all of them being easy to spot really, it it's not hostile no need to kill it.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about, and before you say "I don't care enough to bother learning", no that's not a valid response. You're insulting a very smart and talented man, who has created many thrilling and deep stories, just because he sexualises some characters. It doesn't matter how a character dresses, as long as they are solid. There is a good chance Quiet will be a strong character with a good back story. Both men and women in the series have been shown in such a way to make them look attractive, but this isn't the main points of the characters. Honestly it's very childish to dislike Kojima on your terms, but considering your need to sprout insults like a 10 year old who just learned the word I shouldn't be surprised.
