I haz the many maps nd skillz nd i teech u haugh 2 pleh ghem

I've played Halo 1 so many times I almost feel like I developed the damn game. In short, I've played it to death.

And yet I still play it from time to time.
I couldn't count the time I've spent playing Halo PC if I tried. Too many years of it being my main online game, and playing the SP before I was allowed online.

Not only have I played the PC port, I played pretty much every version. Even the very original Xbox version from 2001, all the way to Anniversary. I've explored every bug and every outcome and even watch the cutscenes in free cam mode so I can fly around and see how it was all done.

I've played it so many times, campaign and multiplayer for both that it's almost starting to lose it's charm for me actually. I need to be careful and not overplay it.

Halo 2 on the other hand is a different story since I haven't fully explored it. Same with Halo 3.

Hey wait, you have a colored nameplate though. Didn't the admin assign or approve it? That's probably the only way. That is unless you uploaded an image for your title bar in your settings. Supposedly you can do that.

I would like to know how people are getting colored nameplates as well.

that was a really gay thing for you to say

That was a really happy thing for me to say? What?
i was using the word gay the same way i used the word autism to give you an example of how the word doesn't have a literal meaning

i guess it went way over your head

honestly, why the fuck care what people say? this is the internet; everyone's a cunt, and nothing matters in the end

if you get offended, then I suggest muting everyone that "misuses" the word, starting with me, so i don't have to worry about you complaining again

Nah. I'll just try to go thicker skin and deal with it instead. Though grammatically using those words as insults isn't really a smart choice, hence I never use them. I'm guilty of the same crap with the word retarded, that's why I make an effort to never misuse the word because it can offend people.

Also, I'm not a cunt, I'm actually a fairly decent person once you get to know me.

Soon enough the internet will get bored of that word and use something like down-syndrome next

It's already being used on Newgrounds, at least when I was there. Both actually got used in the same sentence once on there. Even using down-syndrome as an insult is fucked up. :/

You know if people really want some clever insults, I can list better ones than misusing these words. Just PM me about it and I'll see what I can come up with.

Says the guy that used the same insult on me and told me to go kill myself on B.next.

Btw, I'll never forgive you. -_-

Let's face it. The Bungie we know and love is dead. Especially after Marty got fired. :/
*sigh*

What's wrong?
Just agreeing with you. I was a pretty hardcore Bungie fan, but what's been happening the past year is extremely disheartening. Hell, I still sport my Halo 3 legendary edition Bungie theme on my xbox dash.

I hear ya. I feel the same way. I have the Bungie Charity T-shit on my avatar as well.

I agree with you completely.

Destiny isn't the forum on the Internet with the highest population of autistic betas.

:/

#gaming is proof that autism is contagious

-_- Really internet? Come on people, grow the fuck up. We can't keep using this word as an insult. Would any of you actually say this kind of shit in real life right in front of an actual autistic person?

We're not so different from you, ya know.

*sigh*

Not this crap again.

It's the same thing with Faggot/Fag, retard, moron and the like. It's not meant as an insult or slur against those from which the word is appropriated but as an insult to the person on the other end.

I can see why it might be offensive, but this is the internet. Try not to get too wound up over things like that.

Okay. I'll try not to get offended, but I already made a thread I made in the past in the serious forum just to express my concerns.

(Originally written on B.next)

Well, actually making fun of anyone is wrong really, but the internet likes to pick on autistic people more it seems.

Someone recently told me that I don't make any constructive threads. Well I'm going to try to change that with this thread.

You see, autism is one of those things that society likes to label people with it. By this I mean it's almost a way to separate what's considered normal and what isn't. Now autism itself has a spectrum. You can either have high functioning autism (formally known as aspergers) which is like a real low number on the scale depending on where that individual is since everyone is different, and you also have the one where the person is so unstable that they can't speak, or even function like an everyday person. They pretty much have more difficulty with things than others and in a way, they're almost suffering to an extent. These people may not seem to be like you or I, but that doesn't mean they don't have any emotions or how they feel towards other people. Chances are, they would be even more compassionate to others, probably even more so than you or I.

Now out in society, anyone that has any form of autism, Most people don't say anything to hurt them or make fun of them (unless it's middle or high school, but those kids are stupid they don't know that it's wrong) and people have common sense not to insult or make fun of them.

That's not the case on the internet, on here and many other websites, autism is an insult. People would write stuff like "your autism is showing" or "quit being autistic OP"

I myself have done everything I can to get used to those, but then there are the ones that no matter how much you try, they get to you, such as "You autistic piece of shit." Especially if the end users knows that the OP has autism and know that it's going to bother them.

Why are you people making fun of someone that's autistic? Seriously, what makes it okay in your book to make fun of someone that's autistic? Is it okay if I make fun of you for having ADD, ADHD or something else that a person might have that isn't considered normal to society or in a social setting? Is it okay for me to make fun of someone because they have a completely different sexual orientation or had a sex change? Is it okay for me to use the words Gay, Fag, Faggot, Fgt, The N word, etc. or heck anything for that matter whether the word is good or bad as an insult? No? Then why the fuck is it okay for some of you clowns to make fun of autistic users and/or use the word autism as an insult?!?

Bet you didn't know this, but I'm autistic. Yes, I said it. I'm probably going to get shit for it, but that's fine because I'm already considered shit to the community anyhow.

I may numb out most of the pain, but it pains me to see people isolating someone because of what they consider to have is a disadvantage. Sure some things are harder for us to do, but that doesn't mean we're any different, hell, we may even be smarter than you.

Anyone that's on this spectrum has a certain amount of it. If I were to put the spectrum on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest and most unstable, it would balance out who's far up on the top and who isn't. I'd say I'm either a 2 or 3 on the scale, which would mean that I'm not so different from any other person and if you were talking to me in person, you probably wouldn't even know unless I told you myself that I have it. Mind you I had years of therapy as a child, if I didn't I probably wouldn't be who I am when I was a teenager and who I am now as an adult. As of right now I'm still working my way to understanding sarcasm, that right there is what can give it away for me.

If you have it, you might be higher on the scale, you might be lower, and that's just the beginning, the scale itself is so complicated that even in low numbers, people may still react differently, it completely depends on that individual and what else they may have, but for the most part, people on low numbers aren't that different, hell some of these people are incredible. Look at Bill Gates for instance! Where would you be if it wasn't for him? Granted the guy's got a lot of money and has founded probably what is now one of the most evil corporations in the world, but he has so much money and has been successful with Windows and PC's that for the most part, you're using a PC to post on the forum. Now Bill Gates hasn't officially said anything about what he has or confirmed it himself for that matter, but for the most part he's most likely autistic. I'm pretty sure if he wasn't he may have not been able to pull off everything that we have and use today. Anyone that has a PC can thank Bill Gates.

So why is making fun of autistic people wrong once again? It's wrong because we're not any different from you, at least most of us aren't. Some of us are way too high on the spectrum that chances are, they wouldn't even be on this forum. And that's the truth. It all depends on the person however. We haven't done anything to cause us to get insulted by you or made fun of, so why even do it in the first place?

TL;DR Version: Don't make fun of autistic people because we're not so different from you. In fact, don't make fun of anyone, even jokingly because unless you know the person well, it might rub them the wrong way.

Honestly if I just earn my Legendary in here, that will be fine for me. I'm not someone that's likely to break the rules here, unless I'm hungry as hell and haven't eaten in awhile, then I get mad.
Basically just be a likable and active member and you should have no problem getting there.

Sounds next to impossible. People naturally hate me on the internet no matter what. I actually had to not only quit but have my Newgrounds account voluntary deleted by the staff due to severe harassment from it's community. Thank goodness that was under a different alias, which was close to Decimator Omega but not exact. It was under the name "Decimating"

Of course, knowing them, that's never gonna happen. >.>

Yep, Bungie *coughs* Activision's butt-slave *coughs* has managed to fuck up the site for good.

At first, they were Microsoft's butt-slave. Now their ass belongs to Activision. If money wasn't the case, perhaps Bungie would have been all like...

But since they most likely got a truck full of $$$$

"Activision, we may own our game, but our ass on what we do with us belongs to you!"

At least he replied to your PM.

I'm just the plague to Bungie Employees.
I'll bet, especially if you have real concerns.

Actually, Achronos was nice enough to reply to my concerns, but with DeeJ, I Pmed him 2 days ago in regards to the legacy emblems that I'm certain I'm suppose to have, no response from him. Even with other crap in the past year, never responded once to me.

If his job title is community manager, he needs to get fired because he's terrible at it. Never thought I'd say this but I liked Urk more.
What was Urk like?

Better than Deej. Urk was a douche alright since he rigged Bungie Favorites to one private group to have it's content displayed, while others who worked hard at their creations were rejected and buried. Let's just say me not winning Recon in a 2009 screenshot contest was total bullshit. Should have one that day. I didn't unlock Recon until late 2011, and now I don't even play Halo 3 anymore, so it's pretty much too late. I wanted the Armor so I could use it in a short film but now it's all forgotten history.

Here's the thing. No real staff member from Bungie was really nice. They're all dicks at the end. Urk and Shishka were possibly the biggest dicks for awhile, then I meant DeeJ.

Seems to me that in order to be a Bungie Employee or Ninja, you have to have one qualification, be a douchbag.

Achronos is the worst however. He's the one that ruined the site completely and he doesn't give 2 fucks if your private group dies or died because of it either, and he certainly didn't care that veteran members such as myself where threatening to leave and not buy any of Bungie's shit.

...You know something? I'm changing my nameplate. I don't think Iike Bungie's logo anymore.
What I loved about the new update is that they said they would fix stuff such as groups, but they made the groups even worse than they were on B.next. And not to mention that after nearly 3 months, the site is STILL broken.

Yeah, even if it all got fixed, it would be too late. Nothing can revive the groups I was in anyway.
