Wasn't my destination though, I was headed to North Hollywood. Pretty long drive. It's kinda scary how massive the freeways in LA county are.
I saw your thread when you were in Glendale.
I was in Monrovia at the time. Working.
Hope you enjoyed your visit.
As for the freeways, you'll get use to them.
It was interesting but it was in the 100s so it was way too fucking hot. Couldn't stay because the materials we had in the car weren't supposed to stay exposed to the heat. Would like to go back sometime for a non-business related trip, I really want to explore a little more.

No, I don't get overly irrational or "explode" anymore like I used to. Life keeps me busy and I've been on here less and less.
I've had my job for over a year now and things have been moving forward. After hearing the shit that Bungie's doing I did wonder if anything changed.
Since my LTE wasn't banned I checked via my phone and was thrilled to see new members from Bungie joining. In a way it felt like B.old was reviving itself on here, as ridiculous as that may sound.
I know many consider Sep7agon to be nothing more but a backwater forum, but why can't we have a real community? I'd love it for more Bungie peeps from the past to join, along with new people who have never been on Bungie.
That's cool. I recently quit mine. Pay was shit and I didn't feel it was worth it for the amount of responsibility I had. Got a few fancy awards from senators and other representatives. Sorta pointless, but they look nice on my wall. Hoping I can use them as resume fodder.
And nah dude Bungie isn't going to get any better. Bungie died when they sold their souls to Activision.
I see. Yeah my pay is barely above minimum here, the general manager can be a dick. My boss is more laid back though. I mainly just do office work. It gets tiring but its better than machining. Oh I'm well aware that Bungie isn't going to get any better. I'm just saying. If more Bungie.old people and new people who never got the B.old experience join Sep7agon, we can reform the old B.old community if people here are willing to do that, just minus the gay rules the old site had. We could bring back the very thing Bungie decided to throw in the trash. We get a real active community here and the idea of private groups could become a reality. Bungie has gone above and beyond to make themselves irredeemable at this point.

I've been busy like hell and yes I have requested my ban and took nearly 3 months off. Kinda missed you guys.

Honestly I'm not surprised by this at all.
I knew this was going to happen since the day Destiny 2 even got announced. What surprised me is that they would seal off #OffTopic to non Destiny 2 players. I'll admit I didn't see that coming.
But Bungie's been dead to me for awhile now so its not like this matters to me anymore. This is the only site that truly feels like halo.bungie.net honestly on a tech level and it is sad how things like that will never come back. Perhaps when more peeps from Bungie join it will level out to a real community instead of a backwater one, which I'm glad people are joining this place from there.
PS, still refusing to buy Destiny 2. Saw the reviews for it too. What a pile of shit.
