Frame rate on the Halo maps jumps up and down a lot but it's nothing unplayable granted that you manage to figure out the incoherent clusterfuck that is the menus. The base Quake game on the other hand runs at a buttery smooth 60 fps. I wouldn't recommend playing it without a gamepad though.
Still looks better than 343's crap tbh, even though this is Quake. Nice!

Agreed. Also, I had to stop myself from buying a legit OG Xbox debug kit just now. As much as I'd want it, I'd have no room to store my other consoles. Plus I'd need to install Windows XP on a virtual machine just to try developing code on it, and I don't have that much free time. On top of that no one really plays an OG Xbox anymore. $300 for a working debug kit is stupid cheap compared to people selling it for $1000. Tfw when I'll never own a legit Debug Kit of any system

Personally, I'd say yes if you want to play modded content in Halo 3 or Reach with other people, Halo 3 is a lot hard to find peak hours, you'd have better luck in Reach though. If you wanna just play Halo 2 or CE online via system link tunneling, you don't need an RGH, not unless you wanna run mods yourself. Here's a video on LiNK for more info.

My mother bought me a handful of games including Halo CE for the OG Xbox in 2009 I believe. I loved the game and decided to buy the rest of the trilogy. It's what got me into gaming and why I'm even here right now.
