I think Bungie are purposefully developing Destiny badly to activate some kind of get out clause in the contract with Activision, it's the only explaination for the way things are. Nothing else makes more sense
Either that or they really want to file for bankruptcy. If money was no object for me, I would have bought Bungie way before they signed their agreement with Craptavision. If anything I would have signed a deal with either Valve or Bethesda for Destiny, or hell, just create a publishing side called Bungie Publishing or something. Bungie was big enough to self publish. I say was because now they are a joke. Like come on, $500 million? It had a whole community on its back, they could have self published Destiny. Edit: Oh you were mocking a post on there. Nevermind.

BUNGiE peaked at Halo 2
Combat evolved was a clasic but like Metroid 1 is staring to show its age.
3 is a mediocre game at best. ODST was good though
Wars was not even BUNGiE
Reach has good custom games art and level design, but was a mechanical fuckfest
343i were good storytellers but made the mistake of copying much Reach into Halo 4. The people who made everything after 4 may as well be a different company and it only has like 3 competent members left.
Halo 5's story was a disaster, The Multiplayer WAS good untill the weapon tuning update fucking butchered it.
Halo 2 was its potential I agree, but Halo 3 was like a more polished version of Halo 2, that's why I like it to this day. 2 and 3 should have been one game in my opinion. There is a reason why Halo 3 sold very well.

That was the original intention. The stuff surrounding the Ark Portal in H3 was originally gonna be in Halo 2 - only, the structure at Voi would have been the Ark as opposed to a portal. It was cut because of Halo 2's clusterfuck of a development cycle. I know. The Original ending for Halo 2 was to also defeat Truth instead of The Arbiter killing him in Halo 3. Frankie talked about this one a while back actually. Apparently they did discuss it for MCC as the files are still around - but they decided not to because almost everything you see is pre-scripted and if you venture off the assigned path even slightly, the entire thing crashes. So while it'd be fun as a one-time novelty, it's not worth the dev time to implement nor would it be particularly fun or engaging to play in of itself.
Oh I don't want 343 to even touch that shit. Like how this Halo 2 Multiplayer Alpha got acquired, I would be more than happy if the modding community got its hands on it instead. It belongs on a softmodded console or dev kit, and Original Xbox softmodding is easy to do.

The Halo 5 Team had no real clue who Halo's main overall characters were and they were surprised that people wanted to play the Chief more than Locke.

Locke was probably the weakest protagonist in the game. Even Buck is a better character than him.

Welp. I didn't upgrade my hard drive just yet. I did set it to slave mode yesterday and I'm going to test it with my Hard Drive test kit to make sure its completely erased and formatted correctly. I don't want to have it cloned, put the new hard drive in the Xbox and have it give me an error code instead.
Because then I'd have to tear the console apart again just to figure out what went wrong.

Halo has always had flaws to start with in its story, but the direction 343 took is about as bad as the direction Star Wars took with The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi

Gotta say that I see nothing wrong with this. It wasn't 343 making fun of PTSD, it was Cortana trying to mock and destabilize the spartans any way she could by referring to their past experiences and traumas in an attempt to get to and distract them. That's like saying DC is making fun of orphans and homicide because they have the Joker bringing up Batman's parents dying and laughing about it to throw him off his focus.
And that's the big problem with modern Halo in its main story. Cortana wasn't suppose to be a heartless spineless bitch. That's just not her character at all. The only way 343 can redeem Halo now is if they reveal that this is a rampant Cortana and that they killed the real one off. Its the only thing that would make any fucking sense at this point. Honestly, I hate what 343 has done to Halo. Hate it hate it hate it. Cortana may have been annoying in Halo 3 but Bungie was at least trying to tell the story in a new way without cutting to a cut scene each time, but at least she wasn't a bitch like how she later became one within Halo 4 and 5.
