I'm gonna hop on Halo Online now. That sounds a lot more fun than discussing Battle Royal in Halo or even talking about Halo 5 for that matter. how will the addition of new content take away that uniqueness

Halo 5 lacked any real fun content when it launched. I don't know about it now but for most of the people who want more of a classic feel, its too little too late despite the updates it has.

If Battle Royal is the only thing that's fun in Halo 6, its not going to be a good game is what I'm saying.

I don't follow Pink Floyd, so I don't know. I finished writing my bachelor thesis the other day, and got the green light from my supervisor to submit it. The examination seminar will be on either Thursday or Friday, hope it goes well.
I won't get my diploma immediately either way though, as I'm missing credits and will have to fix that during summer.

Right, its just a game mode, and if its actually done right it can be fun. Blinx 2 had a great Battle Royal mode, however, Fortnite popularized it to the point where now every developer wants to do it, which is going to kill diversity in games. Capture The Flag was already in Halo, so that isn't an issue. What makes Halo unique is the community game modes that exist like Grifball, Swat, Infection, and VIP even. Adding Battle Royal is going to take away that uniqueness UNLESS 343 reinvents Battle Royal. Hell, can we have fucking Chess in Halo back? That was actually fun in Reach.
