After July 29th, Yes. Though I don't think its shitty, at least this version isn't. Trust me, when this thing first came out, it was buggy as fuck. In fact, I even beta tested this thing. The one I'm running now is possibly the most stable build compared to any other.

So if you're even thinking about upgrading to it, Upgrade and extract the product key now, then go back to whatever version of Windows you were on if you still feel shady as fuck about Windows 10, at least this way when you're eventually forced to upgrade, you at least won't have to shell out $150-$200 for Windows 10. Windows 7 loses support from Microsoft right at the beginning of 2020, so you at least still have time if you're on Windows 7. I am uncertain when Windows 8 or 8.1 will lose their support, so you can hang onto them until you decide you wanna upgrade. Also, I wouldn't even think to consider using Windows update to get the upgrade, instead I would recommend using this tool. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/Obviously it is your choice to upgrade or not, but just remember, you don't have a lot of time to get it for free. On top of that, new PCs are gonna end up on Windows 10 for the most part, if yours ever craps out on you, and I mean the hardware. Hope this informed you well. ~Deci
