Semi related, but this is a really good remastering of covenant dance.

I like SPVS soundtrack but this version of covenant dance is kinda....eww.

You not liking Halo 3 is kinda ewww.

I'd like it if it wasn't a worse version of Halo 2 with extra plotholes.

You went full retard man. Never go full retard

TopWarGamer said he downloaded the entire Flood forum onto his PC before it went down.

I haven't heard of him in years, how's he doing?
He doesn't talk a whole lot but seems to be doing fine

Good to know. Happy Bungie day btw, for the old days.

Not going to keep insulting you, but I hate everyone and I'm going to renew my gold. This December I'm reducing the flood to being a shit post forum, and that isn't even fucking right. What do you feel, inferior? Bring the fucking pain, because I can give you a real bleeding dick and i'm bored. If murder was misogynistic, i wouldn't even care. You can go back to ala akbar land and fuck your future wife. Oh, you're already single? You can't even fucking have pussy. Its beyond fucking pathetic, but i honestly wish you had a real one, so i could get that fake woman and fuck her. That's the fucking autism about sep7agon.net, its all a fucking disgrace.

Cool beans

The only thing I've gotten out of gold since last summer is 2-3 free games every month.

That's what it should be for, not make it a mandatory thing just to play games online.

I can play online for free on pc or hell by complete accident. And I missed my chance completely. This December I can potentially bring suicide to xbox.

Yeah, so can I on PC, but I like the novelty of playing shit on a modded console.

Personal preference.

because servers are expensive

the reason steam doesn't make you pay is because Valve doesn't have anything to do with hosting servers for games as a lot of stuff is community hosted and/ or hosted by the developers/ publishers of specific games, which is typically often rendered moot because a lot of games on PC still have recurring payments anyway.

Servers are expensive sure, but I'm sure there's cost effective ways to keep them running.

Its 2018, we haven't had any real value with XBL gold in a decade now.

And considering that I can have the same level of quality with system network tunneling, this in return makes Microsoft servers useless.
I'd probably say that with stuff like Games With Gold and the sales, XBL is more worth it now than it ever used to be.

And you know, that kind of stuff requires good technical knowledge on the part of the user which no one should be forced or expected to have.

What system link tunneling? That's not even hard.
Because you're tech-literate. Most people who want to play games just want to boot the game up and press the matchmaking button to play.

Assuming any degree of technical competence on the part of the user is bad design. You have to assume they have no idea what they're doing because a sizeable chunk don't.

Okay if I was a designer of a platform, I wouldn't assume that my entire user base knows computing, so I agree with you that its bad design.

However, this isn't so hard to learn, it can be taught. I didn't know jack shit about network tunneling 10 years ago, let alone fucking typing on a keyboard. (yeah I taught myself how to type using Bungie.net in 2008 just by posting on forums, school failed to teach me) Its not like learning how to program which I hear mixed results about. Some people say its easy to code, others say it requires some serious dedication and problem solving skills.

That's actually the one thing I still have trouble to this day, learning how to program, because often times I get frustrated with it and lose interest. Even my Unity Engine "Games" are mere hack and slash, some lines of code I did write figuring it out, but its so fucking basic that Cheat could write it in his sleep, others I took from the help forums and tweaked. I'm better at editing simple code and C# code than creating it. C++ I still know jack shit about it.

I spent my free time learning everything that I know now regarding gaming and computers, and I always like to learn new things, even if it tends to be beyond my skill level and frustrating at times.

I understand where you're coming from though, most people want their experience to be simple, even if it means to shell out money for it.

Maybe because I'm tech literate now I just don't see it as a bang for my buck.

I also wouldn't consider myself to be fully tech literate, at least not in this decade or the next, I'm tech literate at least on a basic computing level, my family and coworkers think I'm incredible at it but honestly they're just computer illiterates.

I can do most if not all the tasks our IT guy does at work.

But to stay on topic, I get it. Maybe if network tunneling was as simple as clicking a button on a window more people would do it.

It made sense 10 years ago, it doesn't make any sense now.

This December I'm going to let my gold run out and I'm not going to renew. Xbox no longer has anything to offer me that's worth paying for gold yearly anymore. Online gaming honestly should be free like how it is on PCs, we're already paying for the internet, XBL costing extra money just to game online sucks, the only thing I see gold being used for is the free games for gold stuff, but even then I don't find many games appealing anymore on there, that's what those services should be used for, you wanna get free games for a limited time? Get gold, that's how it should be advertised, but no, you wanna play online you gotta pay $60 a year.

Its just not worth it anymore, considering I can play online for free on PC or hell, I'll even go back to this meme

LiNK on my RGH console with other RGH console users!

I'm not kidding, even that's a better alternative to Xbox Live, its just not populated enough because people don't know about it.

Oh, and lag on system link tunneling, and Xbox Live are pretty much on the same level. You no longer have far more lag on system link tunneling. Ping patches that run in the background improve that.

Who?

Remember Pizzagate?

No?

He put out an elaborate theory that the Clintons ran a child sex den out of a pizza parlor

Even though there's no proof of that, I wouldn't be surprised if that shit were to be true.

The Clintons are horrible fucking people.
