It's racist because it completely invalidates the struggle blacks are even facing in this country, and treating it like the oppression they've faced isn't that big a deal.

Okay I never had the intent to invalidate that. I'm just against any hate crimes. I never said that what that faced isn't a big deal. Racism is a big deal, either way.
However, two wrongs don't make a right. Just because it happened to them doesn't mean that someone who's white should get killed for it or severely beaten because they're white, or because of what white people historically did in the past.
We are not those white people, and I'm not a racist. If I'm a racist, I would be racist towards all humans in that regard.
