well if that car is a chevy it probably just means it’s in park because chevrolet is dumb and they made the reverse lights come on when their cars are in park
All the lights come on when you open the door to get out for about 30 seconds. Its a feature and it can be turned off. Case in point with my Chevy Cruze, I turned that shit off so it doesn't do that. All of the lights also come on when you unlock the doors. That can also be turned on or off. But I've never heard of the reverse lights coming on when you shift it to park (or neutral if you're driving stick) must be a defect.

Nah. Defeats the purpose of it being an eco car if I do that. Besides, do you know how much gas that V8 engine would eat? If I wanted a V8 I'd get another car that comes with one, far cheaper than what I paid for this Cruze.

Its what I was planning to do after I got my license but then decided to just stick with the stock plates instead, mainly due to price of registration going up. So if you're willing to pay more, go for it.
I also wish you had better vanity options in California besides black and yellow and the default white with an image behind it.
