What do you do?
Currently I'm a machinist. I help create aircraft parts using a caliper and micrometer and a CNC machine, this last week I was even using a sand disk to square ends of parts, which requires a respirator mask and goggles, its tough shit but I was able to do it. I'm about to have a position change starting next week. No more 3 day weekends and I'll be getting more experience in measuring and blue print reading this time around. Of course I'll be trying this out and if I'm not happy with the results within the first week, I can still remain a machinist, but I think I'm going to prefer QC much more. 10 hours a day of machining and squaring ends is really exhausting, as well as dangerous. Safety is very important at my workplace.
Pay will still be the same. I'm not gonna get a raise until a year later if anything, the boss likes having me around.
Congrats on getting stable, full-time work. That sounds like a good gig right there.

That thought process right there is the trap, Deci. To them this is a game, not a fight, and your upset replies are their score. The only way for you to win is not to play it with them.
Again, I am on YOUR side in this, and it was wrong of Challenger to try and provoke you by going after your videos. I don't know a way to stop stuff like that from happening, but reacting in this way is only fanning flames. What you could have done is privated the video without the fuss, and found a way to more stealthily get it out to people untill this blew over as you planed.
That's what I'm saying. There is literally no way to stop this. It's also not inherently wrong to spread the video. Let me ask you something, do you find the video insightful in any way?
The quality of the video isn't the point. The point is that it was posted with the intention of making Deci feel self-conscious and embarrassed so that we would end up in the exact shitstorm we are in now, because he knows how Deci tends to react when he feels that way.
This "shitstorm" is entirely based around people claiming Challenger can't or shouldn't have posted it here. If we're being honest, our little disagreement is probably prolonging this far more than if we'd left it alone. Regardless, this will blow over in a week (probably less) and Deci will have his youtube channel back to being a bubble away from the "bad people" on Sep7agon.
I think I'm done uploading videos after this experience.
