this is about a new series of comics that feature a black girl instead of tony stark as iron man
yea but i assume they are going to get the real world equivalent to play the actor role after a few movies so the comic adds up. does it really matter though? even if it was a real woman replacing tondy stark it's an alright thing to replace some of the cast. all we got is black panther lol. comics evovle and society has to evolve along with it. No, it's autistic to give one single fuck about a character's race or gender.
If the character ends up being a Mary Sue, as a couple people have observed, then that's more of a discussion. So you should've titled the thread, "They're replacing Iron Man with a Mary Sue," but you didn't.
If the character was a white male, I think we'd all think it was equally stupid. It's just easier to criticize when there's a clear political agenda as the reasoning.
