Which is the best Element?
Spoiler
This is a trick question, Earthbending is the best.

From ATLA, who is your favourite Character? (You can list two because I can never decide between Toph and Iroh <.<)

No it's a fucking joke, with a marked lack of public approval behind it.

Clearly, it's still funny to watch though.
Americlap politics is so fanatical and heated, I can't help but find it amusing.

So are you for renewing our nuclear weapons program?

Yes. Fuck that.

I don't want to live in a country without nukes.
Pffft hahahaha. It's like you want us to be broke. Also muh mutually assured destruction. Why aren't you for global nuclear disarmament?

It's a nice goal to strive for, but once the technology is there it's impossible to get rid of it. It would be like trying to remove guns from the planet at this point. The major players will just plain refuse as it would make them vulnerable in MAD.

MAD is of course Madness but it at least seemed to stop the world from plunging into nuclear war when Yeehawland started swinging it's dick in SE Asia <.<

Dumping iron sulphate in the ocean supposedly leads to algae booms and helps boost fish stocks, as well as decrease oceanic carbon emissions.

I could be wrong, but aren't algae blooms what cause dead zones in the water?
Only in areas where they can cover the entire surface of the body of water.

But keeping the blooms in check is going to be ridiculously hard to do when you have vast tracts of water coated with them.

As a human I reserve the right to act with hypocrisy in mind every day of my life.
Of course, nobody else should be allowed to.

No Sisters of Battle? :'(

;_;
Not the Ecclesiarchy.

Quote
Cain was a keen Scrumball player at the Schola Progenium and states that the only team that could regularly beat the Commissarial cadets was the Sisters of Battle cadets - not because they were better players, but because they seemed to be under the impression that the aim of the game was to hospitalise the entire opposing team.

Then again, they do need a chance to recover from Matt Ward's deranged fluff writing.

« on: August 04, 2014, 12:02:59 PM »
I'm working on a playthrough of W2 just to have Pokemon from Unova.

Can't wait for Alpha Sapphire
I had to buy Black 2 off of ebay just so I could transfer over all my event Pokemon (and their clones). And whoever had the game last left their profile on the cartrage, so now I have a Genesect and a few other wonder card rarities.

Lucky. I am missing so many event and other legendary Pokemon.

I need to get me a Manaphy.

I have a bunch of Manaphy or Phiones on my Heartgold cartridge, I'm just waiting to get the pokemon bank thing so I can start moving them into Gen 6, when I get to doing so you are welcome to have one :D

I bred so many of them .-.
On that note, I have many legitimate wishmkr Jirachi that I cloned from the Colosseum bonus disk if anyone wants one. They're level five and haven't been touched.

I would love one if you would like to trade <.<

Never had a Jirachi >.>
Alright. I already have a manaphy; what else do you have?

I was looking through my HG pc boxes and it turns out that I do have a jirachi ._. I had just forgotten about it.
The ones that I do have that are tradeable are ones that I suspect you would already have, Zapdos and Giratina <.< Either way, it'll be a while before I can get them into X or OR. Other people might want one though <.<

And I did find a Manaphy and Phiones a plenty.

You better come up north and experience what true England is like.

You mean the barren and desolate wasteland populated with strange cannibalistic badger-human hybrids?

Speaking of annoying artsy films, this steaming pile of blank facial expressions is probably one of the few films that I dislike enough to consider it hatred.

Spoiler rant, if you really love this shit tier waste of cinematography then pls die.

Not only does this shitty film drag on for ages, but they kill off Hal from Malcolm in the Middle, Ron Pearlman (Hellboy and the Fallout Narrator) in stupid and sudden killings with no discernable purpose. I'm all for mindless violence but don't kill off hal while you do it. So after the tear inducing boredom of watching this phaggot in a terrible rip off of 'The Transporter' he bludgeons a guy to death in a lift for having a gun. If it was in the UK, it would make sense but in Yeehaw land, don't half of you carry Assault weapons in the street anyway? Then some more stupid moody one word sentences from this prat who was dropped on his head as a baby and the film ends in some more stupidity.

*ahem*

I really hate that crappy film.

(I still haven't got the hang of editing picture size, so apologies for the giant image of the brickwall)
what it's the Best movie ever!

._.

I enjoyed this movie, for the gore.

If I want gory violence, then nothing on this earth has ever topped the Raid/Raid 2 so far.

The Flood / Re: Do you think Zombies are realistic?
« on: August 04, 2014, 09:55:10 AM »
Something like the zombies in 28 days later is feasible, a virus like rabies (But obviously not rabies) that drives humans bezerk and causes them to act like hungry cannibalistic freaks. Something that attacked the nervous system and all that nasty shit.

Or a fungal parasite that consumes/'takes over' the mind of the host. That's probably the most likely to occur really <.<

However stuff like the walkers in TWD are purely and simply a work of fiction. I was a bit disappointed when the show wiped it's arse with the CDC and went down the strange route they did with regards to infection. Major show spoiler -
Spoiler
How people rise up as corpses from being killed with a chestshot or another disease kind of annoyed me. Let alone all the borderline skeletal limbs that can still move. Or how a rotter can stand up without it's ankles snapping under it's own weight.
But yeah, we don't need to fear a zombie outbreak like TWD or Dead Rising (An even stupider explanation iirc) but they are fun as hell to hit with a chainsaw.

Sky News is a pretty unbiased news outlet. BBC tends to lean slightly to the left when reporting news apparently.
Slightly?

It's one big Paul Krugman circlejerk.

Not exactly, it's only left leaning in the sense that it's not right wing at all.

London is huge, there are hundreds, thousands of things to do, best advice I can give you is to spend a whole day just travelling across the whole city, by foot and by tube, go everywhere and then if you spot specific things just go for it.

And if you are heading outside London, here in the South we have tons of shit, real countryside.

You have to, and I mean HAVE to, walk around Central London, whilst wearing your most American attire, eating a burger, and saying very american things to yourself. And just see their faces

I get the feeling that you're trying to get the shit beaten out of me with that last one.

Joking aside, the average britbong has very good manners. Just avoid eye contact with people and you'll get along fine, that's not because of any spontaneous eruptions of violence caused by it, but because people tend to keep their heads down and mind their own business more than anything.

As for what to do in the sultanate of Londonistan, you should visit some of the museums <.<
The natural history museum is my favourite but that's if you like huge collections of dinosaur bones and the like. The british museum is basically a gigantic trophy rack of 'shit we stole in the glory days of the empire', it's certainly worth a look.

You can always go sight seeing and see Big Bong and pray that it's not Six Bong when you do <.<
Westminster is a fancy building even if it is full of twats. The London Eye is cool too. London Zoo is certainly worth a visit <.<

This is mostly stuff that I enjoyed in London though, since I love the natural world/history and museums and the like so yeah <.<

Oh and if anyone screams YE FOOKIN WOT M8?! Then start running. Don't look back either, or you'll turn to stone >.>

OT: Occasionally.

I sometimes suffer through reading the daily express at my grandparents but it doesn't do a whole lot more than make me roll my eyes at blatantly obvious xenophobia and scaremongering. It's not much better than the Daily Fail but there are some parts of it that catch me by surprise in their 'leftness' Such as telling Israel to go fuck itself. Politely of course, but still that's quite an interesting thing to find in a conservative paper.
