On the other hand donating to your candidate can be viewed as an expression of your 1st Amendment and restricting that would be restricting the 1st Amendment. Nope.
Midnight releases are silly, but I can understand if people are very hyped... Density put me off the game before I even saw the trailers, the cancerous swarm of retards that just clogged up the site with wut class u gon plei?/? was enough of a disincentive. Then the Alpha and the Beta was underwhelming, not bad but just mehhhhh and substandard for Bungie. 16150

I remember watching the endless war between pupils and IT staff over blocking sites.
The filter was so heavy handed that trying to do your history homework was futile. BLOCKED FOR VIOLENCE: CLASSIFICATION: SWORDS AND WEAPONRY Then they blocked game sites, so people used proxies. Then they blocked proxies so people used proxies for their proxies and it all ended up ridiculously convoluted so they'd just turn on the screen monitor and watch what people were doing on their PCs all day. 1984 level shit ._. 16157

Ehhhh, normally I'd tell people bitching about 'muh triggers' to blow it out their ass but if they have trichotillomania then it's not entirely unreasonable to be triggered by it. However, I don't think that TV shows should cut all content out for the sake of covering all the bases in the event that it upsets someone.
I share the sentiment about triggers in general, that it's making a mockery of people with PTSD who do get triggered by shit, but the difference between seeing something upsetting and actually having a nervous breakdown/psychotic episode/whatever you want to call it is pretty important. This is all probably shitty, short and incoherent but I've had a long day, i've taken my sleeping tablets and I'm off to bed lol. I'll come back tomorrow >.> 16159

It's not really a huge thing over in britbongistan <.<
Waiting staff get paid minimum wage plus tips. So the tips have to be earned over here <.< It's not like they have to jump through hoops for our amusement though, just being polite and attentive is all that's needed to get a tip >.> It's certainly one of the reasons why I'm cautious about ever going to Amurika; apart from being groped by the TSA, shot in the street by the police or being suffocated by a bloater on a bus ._. From the way I hear it, if you don't tip in the USA that's the social equivalent of taking a piss on the table in the restaurant .-. 16161

Gaming / Re: Underrated games« on: September 05, 2014, 08:43:27 PM »
Hmm, I suppose they might count <.<
Banished and Endless Space, normally I rag on indie titles because they are dull/cheap ripoffs/le retro grafix/garbage but when I do find a hidden gem it's worth the effort of trudging through the shit on Steam >.> If anyone has ever played stronghold 2, then imagine it without the fucking annoying voice acting and the wolves/enemy to fight <.< A medieval citybuilding game, you have to think and do a lot of planning but it's one of the most enjoyable and somewhat relaxing games I have ever played. It's doubly impressive because a single guy made it on his own and it plays better than most AAA titles these days. Endless Space is the first proper 4X game that I ever played (Played as in played and finished/continue to play), it's a wonderfully creative sci-fi universe in terms of the technology and interspecies relations (Diplomacy not Mass Effect style... ahem) It's certainly worth a look if you like Sci Fi and grander strategy games than an RTS <.< 16167
