Too true. An elementary school friend of mine was paralyzed from the neck-down in 2nd grade when his mom's car was t-boned by a drunk driver. Driver was fine. Fucker.
My friend lost his best friend last month to a drunk driver, he was heartbroken over it (Quite understandably) I just hope that the piece of shit didn't survive because the last thing I want to see is my friend in jail for blowing the fucker's brains out.

There are almost 3000 ratings so going with that number as a bare minimum and going with the lowest price of £1.50 per pokemon... I think that's about £450 ($550), but some are going for double that and triple, let alone all the purchases without feedback/reviews... Probably not enough to live off but certainly a nice sum <.<

How exactly are they preventing hacked pokemon from showing up?
Well I know you can't trade them from Gen 5 to Gen 6, I had a few Action Reply pokemon from Gen 4 (fracking events) but the game cockblocks you at the door when you try to send them forwards, which is fair enough I suppose since apparently hacked pokemon were rife in Gen 5.
What I do know of is this game save editor thing that people were using for Gen 6 and there are plenty of videos of hackers on the online battling so I think it's something of an uphill battle for nintendo.
Any idea on how they stop hacked pokemon? Because as far as I know, they can be made to look pretty damn legit, with a genuine pokemon ID, stats, trainer...
They tried a few things with the game not recognising them as legitimate i.e Kalos Born tag on their ID Card but even then it wouldn't surprise me if that could be faked. I think it mostly just comes down to people generally don't want to cheat in pokemon and the fun is from playing it properly, but those who do don't tend to hurt others. I don't know the specifics but one thing they put on the GTS is to block event pokemon which are the most commonly hacked ones from flooding the market so to speak, hence things like this guy selling them on ebay via direct trades where they are permitted.
