Well Bungie wants us to savor the sandwich so they put shards of glass in it so we have to take more time.

I could tell you how the sandwich was separated. I could tell you about the great flavor of it. But the children are already frightened.

I'm in my last year before university which in the UK is referred to as college or a levels. I also have a part time job.
Your system literally makes no sense.
our system is not hard to grasp.
You're in primary school until the age of 11. It's called year 1 to 6. Then you're in secondary school years 7 to 11, ages 11-16. After that you go to college and do 2 years of a levels or remain at your secondary school to do them. Now you're 18 and off to university
Your college sounds more like high school, at least if you go by age.

In a manner of speaking it is, our version of college is advanced highschooling or it's a technical college which is basically apprentices and trades education (Plumbers and Hairdressers etc). Sixth Form College = Advanced Highschool/preparation for University (What yanks call college) where you do an undergraduate and onwards.

Alrighty let's have a looksie at their studies page.

Analysis of site data to provide nothing meaningful

The results of the study showed that those students who supplemented their regular curricula with Lumosity training experienced greater changes[/u] in their scores on our battery of cognitive assessments than a control group of students who did not complete Lumosity training.
Topkek

#4
Now that's a bit more like it.

#5
Not summarised not clicking

#6
Seems a bit better, but are they just being coached in the shit that they are being examined on? I'll bet.

#7
Again, this one seems better.

#8
Quote
found that patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) who trained with Lumosity experienced a change in performance[/u] on a measure of visual attention

#9
Preliminary findings - Pls go

#10
And breaking news from the university of no shit sherlock,
Quote
Improvement on Lumosity's exercises depends on age. Results from an online study of 132,147 participants.
GG.

#11
Same as #10, who would have thought that more malleable brains benefit more from cognitive training eh?
Quote
This study analyzed Lumosity performance of 446,393 different users ages 13 to 21 on their first play of a basic arithmetic game called Raindrops. Analysis of the total number of correct answers revealed large improvements in Lumosity performance between ages 13 and 17 with performance leveling out after the age of 17.

#12
The university of No Shit Sherlock is really going to town today
Quote
The rates of both age-related cognitive decline and training improvement depend on the cognitive tasks.

#13
Quote
Lumosity's scientists have created and studied the Brain Performance Test (BPT), a brief repeatable assessment battery we developed in order to measure performance on cognitive and neuropsychological tasks.

Potassium.

God damn, Activision makes my blood boil. I'd say they could even be worse than EA.

They are at this point <.<

EA is at least trying to turn things around and make amends for being the shittiest company in America three years running. They dropped online passes, Microtransactions are now pointless shit not central to the AAA title aaand they delayed Hardline when people said 'Fuck off, do something better with this'

<.<

An award that in no way deserved might I add. Butthurt gamers just stuffed the ballet box so they could "stick it to the man" while the real worst companies in America (Monsanto, Verizon, Comcast, and various banks) got off scot free.

Cause you know, video games are more important than real peoples lives, families, and businesses getting destroyed.
Maybe the reason why EA won is simply because more people are gamers than victims of those other things.

That's probably part of it, Monsanto are seriously shitty but their actions tend to affect the bigger picture rather than individually fucking over each person >.>
I'd say the banks probably deserve it the most for fucking everything up .-.

I seriously laugh at people thinking a video game company can be the worst company in a country. If any company gets that title it has to be Monsanto or Comcast

Mm yes, I think my wording was a little off <.<

For being voted worst company in America is what I really should have said.

13931
the fuck has happened to gaming

Probably has something to do with the fact that game prices haven't gone up in over a decade despite exponentially increasing production costs and the demand for higher quality.

For you perhaps, but game prices in the UK have steadily increased from £30 up to £55 over the last few years.

Final "boss" fight

YouTube

That's a more lackluster ending than all of Treyarch's endings combined.

That was just...

Shit doesn't even describe it...

'Errhhh Mitcheeeell'
He sounded like a wookie.

Another lackluster turd shined up by Activision, great.

It's made out to be far worse than it really is. You should definitely visit if you can.

Whilst that's just awful, it doesn't mean we should arm every bugger in bongistan because a few criminals have guns.

If this sort of thing was happening daily, I could see the argument but the fact that this is such big news shows how uncommon it is.
