These things exist for a reason <.<

For tyrants to bully the world, ya. Doesn't make it justified or legal.

Whether you agree with defence treaties or not, they aren't illegal and are important for keeping the smaller countries safer from the bigger ones.

They contribute to stability in the same way that MAD does, although in different manners <.<
Country X doesn't invade country Y because then country Z will rip it's head off and shit down it's throat if it does.

I know you do, but the Gulf war is one of those justified wars <.<
Letting Iraq just rape and annex Kuwait would have been criminal, kicking them out of the country and blowing up the forces they send to try and take it back isn't comparable to say Vietnam or the present/former war in Iraq.

That would still be criminal on our part. We're not in charge of the protection of Kuwait. A war can only be justified when we are directly threatened or attacked.

Which is why I support the '03 war.

Putting Hussein back in the 90s, letting him rape the Iraqi people and letting him rape the Kurds was more than criminal.

Yeah <.<

The justification we were given for going in in '03 was bollocks, but that doesn't mean that getting rid of Saddam was a bad thing. He was a piece of shit and seeing him swing isn't something to regret.

Huh? Hw is that a joke?

I just remember it from the thread on B.old where someone said 'I guess I'm just dumd' and it became a joke. I would try to find the thread but Bungie removed all the hot topic stickies from the archived site :l

I was talking about the '03 Iraq War.

Oh silly me, I thought Camnator was laughing at the Gulf War being criminal <.<

Nevermind.

Well, I still consider most wars criminal. Our involvement in the middle east started long before that.

I know you do, but the Gulf war is one of those justified wars <.<

Freedom or not, Iraq was a good war. One of the best, in fact.

The biggest mistake was leaving Hussein in power in the 90s.

HAHAHAHAHAA!!!! It was as big of a joke as Vietnam, and just as criminal. A complete waste.

*Uwotm8gif*

Desert Shield/Storm was one of the last easily justifiable wars, that didn't require straight up lying to get the approval to go for it.

Iraq starts shitting on Kuwait and the rest of the world kicked their shit in, it's nothing like Vietnam.

"Weapons of mass destruction"

We never had business getting involved.

I think we are talking about different wars in Iraq <_<
My bad.

They have to be alive unfortunately, and anything you do will have real life consequences.

I.e hurr assassinate ze prezident = You get shot to shit by the secret service before you leave your chair.

So rather than wasting your wish on going Allah Akbar, who would you like to meet?

It could be a famous scientist, musician you like, world leader or a celebrity. Really anyone you want to, but as I said if you do anything stupid/illegal you get the consequences of trying to do so <.<

That being said, if you wanted to meet Justin Bieber just to kick him reaaaally hard in the nuts so you can say that you have kicked him in the nuts, I could see why you'd want to do that >_>

I'd really like to meet Paul Ekman (Psychologist) or maybe the Queen <.<
What about you?

1. Don't make eye contact with the peasantry
2. Manners are always appreciated
3. Wear a chainmail hauberk to prevent knife attacks
4. If you ask someone a question that doesn't pertain to the weather or the time, expect to be stabbed.
5. If you find yourself in a Sharia Law zone, keep your head down and run like a mad bugger to save yourself from decapitation. They don't like yanks.
6. Insist that you (the USA) are responsible for singlehandedly winning both world wars at every opportunity*
7. If anyone asks you if you would like a cup of tea, you have to accept. Refusal of tea tends to result in being stabbed.
8. If by chance you can procure a hauberk then prepare to be sued for hurting people's feelings and for causing RSI when they repeatedly try to stab through the mail and are unable to.
9. Common sense doesn't apply to laws here, you will go to jail for 20 years for downloading music and 3 years for killing 6 people.
10. When it's 6bong, Hide.

*This will allow you to look like a typical yank tourist and thus not be subjected to public bongarongs when you inevitably breach etiquette.
Bu chainmail is ballocks fah stabby things, mi lird. 'e should bring full plate.

Well I suppose that's not too bad then <.<

But that's just a breastplate, if you went with full plate... that would be pricey <_<
And good full plate too, not just Larp crap >.>
Don't suck, and you don't need anything else.

Yesh, full suit is expensive though.

*winces*

Ouch.

And that's in today's money, just thinking back to battles like Agincourt where the entire french nobility were decked out in the expensive shit and they all died to some archers in a mudbath. GG.

Although I'd put that down to tactical idiocy rather than the plate being shit, because it certainly isn't <.<
The good stuff shrugs off a Longbow with ease, but yeaaah >.> Stuck in the mud = Rekt.

A childhood without Ipads and selfies, can you imagine it?
As stupid as some people think selfies are, I wish I had more pictures of myself from back then.

Hmm I suppose <.<
My mum took hundreds of photos of me and my brothers when we were little, ones with all my relatives as well.

I don't actively dislike selfies, but there are times when they infuriate me to the point of eye twitching.
There is a poppy memorial display in the tower of london where they filled the moat with poppies to mark the centenary.
Spoiler
If I saw people doing duckfaces and taking selfies there I'd probably push them in the moat <_<

Hey, I was actually there on the anniversary where they did that. I saw morons waiting there all day to see the duke and duchess come in to place the last one and I have no doubt in my mind that they took loads of selfies with duck faces while waiting.

Ew!
lame

But why though?

Times New Roman can be too serious and formal of a tone for casual conversations. You wouldn't write an invitation to a kids birthday party in Times New Roman, just like how you wouldn't write a letter to a patient telling them they have terminal cancer in Comic Sans.

I wasn't expecting a serious answer actually >_>

Oh god forbid that ever happen, children these days wouldn't be able live, what would they do with their lives?

Whilst I'm all for giving technology to children, I follow the principle of ABA.

Anything but Apple.

Fuck Apple, I have an iPhone but still.

Technology makes the world a better place, but you have to make sure kids get to experience some sort of life that doesn't involve starbucks and iphones ._.

What's everyone's problem with it?
