What is it even about?
Spoiler
Humans on Earth are struggling to grow food, and therefore everyone is starving, it's due to dust storms or some shit. Governments are essentially taken down to the bare minimum, no militaries, etc, it's all above making sure the human race survives. There is a secret NASA that nobody knows about, because if the public found out there was money being spelt on a space program while everyone else is starving they'd all go ape shit. Cooper, the main guy in the story finds the coordinates to secret NASA, he also an engineer, and used to be a test pilot, so he's not some retard.

Secret NASA found a wormhole that opened next to Saturn like 50? years ago, something like that. They send probes, which leads to that to a few potentially habitable planets in another galaxy, it's also worth noting that these planets orbit a black hole, which is possiblt a binary white dwarf, black hole system, I forget. they end up sending humans in the wormhole to land on the planets, these humans are on a one way mission, they are expecting death, buy they're doing it so they can hopefully one day find a suitable planet for humanity to live on as Earth is in the shit now. For some reason I forget, they can only send back limited data about their planets, so they end up sending another crew of people through the wormhole to retrieve the data from the people on these planets. Cooper ends up being on that second mission, and they get up to shit, I don't want to spoil this, it's the main bit of the movie.

Meanwhile on Earth, given that wormholes can actually exist, a physicist comes to conclusion that it's possible control gravity, which would allow them to build huge spacestations on Earth, and lift them into space, and to other planets, so he begins trying figure out a theory to gravity in an attempt to exploit it. There is much more to this bit, but it's a huge spoiler.

After this bit is where the film gets good, but becomes more science ficiton. The ending is really interesting.

I'm certainly liking the implications that the movie seems to want to explore, might give a go.
Added a bit about time dilation into the spoilers.
And it's a great film, certainly one of the more interesting ones, but everything links together in ways you wouldn't think of.

Time dilation ends up playing a big part in the movie, hence why I mentioned the planets orbit a black hole. The time dilation is really over the top, but it forces the crew to think of time as a resource, if they waste minutes on a planet, they waste months back on Earth, so they need to do everything in a timeframe that doesn't end up as centuries on Earth, and everyone just ends up dying on Earth.

Especially since this is probably the first time you've heard of time dilation.
topfuckingkek
reading about it in a popsci article doesn't really count.

Because it's a good film with an interesting plot and ending.

Just because you can't get past muh incorrect time dilation even though the extreme value of 7 years per hour was meant to introduce the audience, who most likely haven't heard of time dilation before,  to the effects of time dilation in spaceflight, doesn't make it a bad film. Especially since this is probably the first time you've heard of time dilation.

Gotta love the ones who show real dedication to it in the form of butt-plug tails.
Saw a guy with a fox buttplug tail once, that was, fun?
Did you... check to see if it was in right?
Had to validate my initial hypothesis, so I had to check it was really a buttplug tail...
It was stuck in there well.
His reaction?
As a tall, dark, handsome man, walking up to a feminine teenager to check if his buttplug was well adjusted in the middle of a busy city centre, I saw him swoon his spaghetti all over the pavement.

Something I just noticed when a thread got moved.

http://sep7agon.net/index.php?topic=11416.msg243920#msg243920
This post has 4 likes, and you can tell when you click on who liked it, but only shows 1 like. It shows that Nuka has liked it twice.

http://sep7agon.net/index.php?topic=11416.msg243872#msg243872
And my post had 1 like before it was moved, and it still shows 1 like on my stats page, but doesn't actually show it in the thread.

Is this just me, or has moving the thread between forums messed up the likes?

Argos isn't too bad. Although I feel like I'm doing more than what I'm paid for.
I work mostly on a headset which involves speaking to a computer and grabbing items from the warehouse and bringing them out to customers. It's pretty active so my shifts go by real fast. Tills are the worst tbh, I'm happy as long as I'm not on a till.
WOULD YOU LIKE PRODUCT CARE WITH THAT?
WOULD YOU LIKE AN EMAIL COPY OF YOUR RECEIPT IN CASE YOU LOSE YOUR PAPER COPY?
WOULD YOU LIKE TO BASH MY HEAD IN FOR OFFERING ALL THIS SHIT YOU DON'T NEED?
OH I FORGOT, DO YOU HAVE AN ARGOS CARD? NO? WOULD YOU LIKE ONE?
FIND ME MY FUCKING DESK YOU FUCK

Alright, did the super advanced humans create the wormhole, and turn the black hole into a time library so that Cooper can find the gravity information so that they can become super advanced?
