You would often miss your melee lunge against good players, so you did actually have to aim and time your melee well, or you would easily wind up dead
Look at all that aiming he's doing. He's aiming so well that it looks like he's not even aiming at the person.

which was impossible in Halo 3 to miss your melee and in later games.
Lel. In Halo 3 and the later games the circle had to be red unlike in Halo 2 when you don't even have to have it on them.

No it didn't. The target was also standing still in Halo 2. It's obvious you never played Halo 2 online.

God you're a mong.

Right, because MW2 is definitely the only game I am talking about. You're a retard.
lol
Halo 2 is a hand holding sim. Every other game after it most certainly don't have aim assist and bullet mag out the jacksie.
Lmao. I bet you sucked ass in Halo 2.
Being good at the game still doesn't change it being unfinished and broken. No matter how good or bad you are you're still going to be able to melee someone to death by not even having the aiming circle on them.

h2 has bullet magnetism, not aim assist

aim assist is what h3 had

just a bit of semantic clarification
Halo 2 has aim assist. Aim assist makes your reticle sticky around an enemy. A really easy test to see how much aim assist a game has is to pain the reticle over an enemy. If the screen slows down, that's the aim assist.

Halo 2 has a crap-load of aim assist, the main difference to Halo 3 is that the aim assist stops at a shorter range, as does the RRR.
the bullet mag is a much bigger problem in h2 than the aim assist
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnATdmHs0GQ
This is why Halo 3 sucks.

What he said is true. You did try defending the horrible aim assist by saying every game aims for you. Yes games have aim assist but it's not as bad as what Halo 2 is. In that game you can barley be aiming at the person and nearly every shot makes contact. Hell the melees hit when the circle isn't even red.
Spoiler
Spoiler
Every game after Halo 2 which is true. If you thought Halo 2 had it easy, you should play MW2. That game literally aims for you and every other game that is similar to it. Not to mention how much less skill they take compared to Halo 2.

You also tried to defend Halo 2 about how broken it is by saying every game is like that. You're saying every game is as broken as that game when a lot of games aren't.
That's because its true for the most part. How many games these day are shipped unfinished and literally broken these days? They require patches after patches before they become playable. Halo 2 received only one patch and the game worked always.

Sprint is what sucks. I don't like sprint. I'd rather have Call of Duty 2 ported for Xbox One than Halo 5.
You think Halo 2 isn't Hand Holding Simulator: 2004, though; but every game after Halo 2 aims for you.
You're really not someone worth listening to.
lol, what? Stop speaking for others and embarrassing yourself in front of everyone you have no idea you're talking about.
You literally denied that Halo 2 didn't have aim assist and bullet magnetism out the arse and claimed that every other game since Halo 2 does.

Don't try to bullshit your way out of this.
I never denied anything about Halo 2. Stop pulling facts out of your ass.

They are dumbing down it for casuals.
By improving the graphics?
What?
I meant the game.
How are they?  It's still the same game.
All they've done is improve the visuals and adapt the gameplay so it works properly for the 3DS.
You can save now anytime you want, which defeats the purpose of the three day time limit and takes away from the game. And you have a guidebook that tells you what to do instead of solving all the puzzles by yourself.

If we didn't have sequels, we wouldn't have the best game of all time, KOTOR 2.
We wouldn't have:

Majora's Mask
Halo 2
Empire Strikes Back
WWII theme
Terminator 2
Call of Duty 2
Uncharted 2

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Terminator 2: Judgment Day

This is terrible, you are all terrible, misinformed and ignorant.
No, Greeks are terrible, as evidenced by the fact that they dumped the leaders that were un-fucking their economy in favor of more social benefits that they can't fucking afford.
That's the problem in all of Europe.

You could say that about every other game.
About that.
YouTube

You can't find a game that takes more skill than Halo 2 that came out after it on console.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive? Also by skill are you talking about a game that nearly aims for you and has a instant kill button combo? Also don't forget get about that magical sword launch. If so I don't think there are that many FPS games after Halo 2 that are that broken.
Every game after Halo 2 has had the game aim for you. Button glitches increased the skill gap in Halo 2 and added depth. Halo 2 wouldn't have been nearly as good without all the glitches in my opinion. We haven't had a better game since Halo 2.

You know what's funny? I've never, ever seen a single piece of gameplay footage of Mass Effect.

Because all anyone cares about is the dialogue scenes. And the sex scenes.

great games
I have heard they have clunky gameplay apparently. I don't like games that don't have good gameplay.
I thought you like Halo 2 though?
Halo 2 is reputable for its gameplay even though it's 11 years old.
It's broken, bullshit, aim assis, bullet magnetism riddled gameplay?
