The EU is composed of countries that already have a military. The only thing they have to do is make a NATO like thing. Hell there's countries in the EU that are members of NATO so why bother having a EU military when there's already something like it.

That doesn't really make sense since 1. Turkey has been getting very close to Russia recently, and has been crying out against the West. And 2. Why would we put missiles in Turkey when we could put them in Estonia and Latvia, who probably want those missiles so they can defend themselves from Russia. This isn't the 60's anymore where Russia has a screen of one or two client nations protecting it from NATO missile sites.
