what is the tikrit situation in iraq?
ISF are encountering some stiff resistance from IS. Which shouldn't come as a surprise since IS has likely been preparin for this exact moment since they took Tikrit 8 months ago.
Though ISF owns most of the city, and have IS encircled and under siege. It's gonna take a while to clear Tikrit though, but IS pretty much has no means to retake the entire city.
Why have the Iraqi forces had an easier time fighting IS than the SAA? The SAA is in greater number and their equipment is probably similar in strength.
SAA is too spread out, and they'd rather deal with the non-IS rebels in their country first before dealing with IS. Most of the SAA is deployed in spots like Idlib, Andppo, Dara'a, and Homs away from points of IS strength. Though the SAA is fighting IS in eastern Hama and Deir ez-Zor, that isn't a majority of their forces. ISF can actually afford to deploy the vast majority of their forces against IS. In fact, the SAA is so spread out, that there are rumors going around of them being at a breaking point.

Just gotta put in some more time online. You're sitting at just under 30 days online, while the "lowest" mythics I've found are at a minimum of something in the 40 days.
The amount of time you've been on the site influences your rank now? And holy shit, you've spend close to 2 months online.
My 53 days spent online is still pretty low compared to some other users, lol. It goes fast though. I'm not sure exactly how it's calculated, but it doesn't seem like you actually have to be actively posting for it to go up.
But yeah, it does influence your rank. As far as we know, it's post count + time spent online + karma (upvotes/downvotes) that determine your rank.
Upvotes and downvotes have to be worth more individually than a single post. I imagine it'd be worth as much as a single day in Sep7agon.
Which would mean that you have to be a really fucking terrible poster to get into the negative karma ranks.
I have no idea how much they're worth, but it's not as much as they used to be. Now, they really don't hold that much weight anymore. The reason for that is that back in the day, some people would reach the highest ranks extremely fast by being friends with other members and continuously upvoting one another, while other members would have their rank lowered by several downvotes on a whim. After that, Cheat changed the system so that time online and post count matters a lot more.
Yeah, it was kind of retarded when the system was a massive circlejerk. Glad Cheat fixed it.
