That thought just entered my head. Imagine what percentage of Syria has been injured by the conflict. Or have lost their homes.
One other number which is confirmed is that over 50% of the population has been displaced by the conflict.
That means that 40-something% of the people are still living in their original homes 4 years later.
And, 1% of Syria is 220,000 out of 22,000,000 people. And these are only the confirmed deaths. Probably another 50,000-100,000 deaths which haven't been discovered/confirmed.
