The UK Polling Report shows that back in 2006, 78pc of British Muslims polled believed that Kurt Westegaard--the Danish guy who drew pictures of Mohammed--should've been prosecuted, with 68pc thinking those who insult Islam should be prosecuted.

CBS News, also back in 2006, reported that 25pc of British Muslims supported the 7/7 bombers. And Pew has weighed in on the issue, showing that 24pc of British Muslims think suicide bombing is justified, with a further 15pc saying it is sometimes justified. Worryingly, this rises to 35pc and 19pc for Muslims aged 18-29. That's 54pc of 18-29yo Muslims who feel that suicide bombing is at least sometimes justified.

Civitas tell us that 33pc of Muslims believe apostates should be killed, and 28pc want Britain to be an Islamic state. And a different Pew study showed that just 7pc of Muslims in Britain think of themselves as British first, with 81pc explicitly thinking of themselves as Muslim first.

Are there any statistics on where Muslims that migrate to Western nations tend to come from?
Muslim nations?
Which nations specifically.
Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Egypt mainly.

2913
(other than me)

...who said that they would commit suicide if you ever banned him, what would you do? And this guy would be absolutely serious of committing suicide, and you have every reason to believe him.

If you ban him, he kills himself and you are to blame. And if you don't ban him, then he keeps on making the forum into a shitfest.

How is Challenger even in the running?
He's probably the second most active user in Serious after Meta and his opinions are generally contrary to Meta's.

He'd be the logical competition.

For second place though. Cause Comms is #1.

How about we arrest them for being criminals.
Nonviolently expressing your opinion isn't a criminal act. You have this childish mindset of "OMG EVERY SINGLE PERSON EVER WHO SUPPORTS ISIS WILL UNDOUBTEDLY MURDER SOME1". It's dumb. Sure, 50% of those protesters are probably murderers, but that's a completely different crime. You're treating expression and protesting in and of itself as breaking the law.
Nobody is saying that every single supporter of X will kill somebody except for you. And you clearly haven't even read either of our posts, or else you wouldn't immediately be posting your ideological crap.
The point is that freedom of expression is the absolute pinnacle of a society's goals. Stripping it down just to catch more members of a group that will be gone in ten years anyway is a travesty.
Oh of course, a group that's been around for decades and is doing extremely well will be gone in 10 years. We should just wait it out like a bunch of pussy hippies. Fuck saving innocent lives.
No, we should fucking steamroll the Middle East with some kind of collective force of 500,000 soldiers, wipe out ISIS, and leave. The problem with the Iraq War was that we stuck around to "rebuild" the country. I've been saying this for years. We just need to eliminate the majority of the group and get out of there, not impose restrictions to freedom of speech for no reason.
Okay, let's go on a trillion-dollar mass murdering rampage through a volatile region rather than imposing some sensible limits on preaching hatred. That's such a smart idea!!!!!!

There are limits to that. Like for when you're literally preaching for people of your same sect to kill others.

Like even now, you're not allowed to preach for assassinating the President regardless of whether the threat is credible or not. So why not extend that protection to vulnerable minorities?

Challenger has shit opinions, so Meta.
You're just mad that you're getting rekt by him on that thread in Serious.

People who like (most of) Meta's opinions just masturbate to muh free market.
If you consider that getting wrecked, I don't want to know how you react to actual forum rape.

And no, it mainly stems from the drug/consent arguments I've had with him in the past. He makes Verbatim's social beliefs look brilliant.
What are his opinions on those?

Free speech isn't fucking free speech if certain opinions aren't allowed. To say that you're not allowed to believe in ISIS's cause is ridiculous. Acting on it is completely different.

If I want to walk down main street wearing a KKK uniform and holding up a sign that advocates murdering black people, I should have every legal right to do so. Just as you'd have every right to yell and berate me for it.
Certain opinions (vocalizing) aren't allowed already.

And the KKK should have no legal right to preach hatred. Shit like that just inflames the already tense interracial relations in the US.
Maybe in the backwards ass UK, but not here.

And yes, they should have every legal right to preach whatever they want. Acting on them is completely different.
They do act on them.
So every single member of the KKK assaults black people?
Enough of them do so to make the group a massive problem.

Yes, here.

Most of the people in the KKK are fucking retards. If their Grand Wizard or whoever the fuck demands that they kill X number of blacks, and then X number of blacks are killed by the KKK...

That's not free speech, that's practically contract killing.

I think that this deal is far better than no deal. It gives both sides more than what they would have had if they hadn't made the deal. And this deal could pave the way for future deals as well.

And to the Republicans who are decrying this deal, if you want war with Iran so bad, why don't you go in there first. And also fuck yourselves.

I'm pretty doubtful of your claim. I guess I'll consult the all-knowing Google.
Created by Iran and trained by IRG.
Created by Iran is only half-true. It had local origins, but Iran really made it into Hezbollah. Which is pretty much what I was trying to say.

EDIT: Yeah, Hezbollah had origins as a local group in resistance against Israel, but Iran quickly seized the opportunity to make that into their Lebanese proxy during the 1980's.

Fuck Europe.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I'm from London, mate.
Most Britbongs and Americans have the same opinions of Europe. >_>

2934
It can be argued on whether they are sloppy but as an organization grows it is an easier group infiltrate. If anything they are still considered the best military force in Lebanon and are considered stronger than the Lebanese army. The main issue that arises is that Hezbollah has sent quite a number of their troops to Syria to fight the war and as a training drill. If anything they have shown they are good as whichever front they have been on they have made gains in.

Still although they have agents inside they are still operating at a strong base, hell the greatest achievement of Hezbollah is basically it's capability in getting the population to support them especially the non-Shia community that includes the Christians.
Exactly. They're getting sloppy in comparison to their previous (though fairly high) standards. Whereas before, Israeli infiltrators were practically unheard of, now they're being picked off on a monthly basis. I wonder whether they execute those spies and risk retaliation from Israel, or send them back. Probably the former.

While I don't care for Hezbollah's goals, I can still respect their influence and professionalism.

Taxes are too damn high.
We can't claim that taxes are too high while simultaneously complaining about the government's debt. Taxes are their sources of revenue, and taxes are almost historically low right now.
I don't give a fuck about the debt and you shouldn't either.
I'd love to not give a shit about the debt. Why shouldn't I? Honest question.
There's literally no reason that the US should pay back its debt. Ever. Like, the US has zero incentive to give a single shit about that debt.
That..doesn't really clear anything up. Would paying off a good portion of our debt not have a significant benefit?
It would not. Which is why the US has no reason to pay off its debt.

If you can't give them anything else, they're at least badass. Though, this video is from a Hezbollah-run channel, so they made them look like badasses in the video.

They did do a pretty good job though.

YouTube

So, for discussion value.... give your thoughts on Hezbollah I guess.

(the music is pretty freaking awesome as well)

EDIT: And for those of you who don't know what Hezbollah is, it's a Lebanese militia group who is backed by Iran to the point where they're effectively Iran's proxy in Lebanon. They're also Iran's most valuable foreign affiliate by far. Though they have a very mixed reputation due to them being designated as a terrorist organization by several countries and the fact that they've been supporting/fighting for the Assad regime a great deal during the Syrian civil war.

Though in recent years due to their over-extension, their standards of professionalism/training/equipment have gone down quite a bit. They're starting to become a bit sloppy, and there are numerous Israeli agents planted within the group now (who are Hezbollah's arch-enemy due to their origins as a resistance group against the partial Israeli occupation of Lebanon during the 80's)

That's the thing.

They do.
Not really. Do you see how fucking huge the US is in terms of population, landmass, and infrastructure? And more than that, how many people are doing financially awesome compared to most parts of the world?

A country like the US requires gigantic costs to maintain what they have.
