I had a Government class and I think it's important since for many people, it's the only time in their lives they'll learn about politics. It may not go too in depth, but it's far better than nothing.

I gotta say, I'm actually impressed by these poll results.
What about the 18%?
Lol.
This is way better than the polls on Bungie usually go, so...
Wait, what, really? How much worse are the polls on Bungie?

Eh, German is pretty simple once you get used to it. It's just that you combine words to make superwords. And it's probably a similar thing in Greenlandic.

bots are just for noobs with no friends anyway
>implying that I wanna wait 10 minutes to get into a game when I can just get into a game with bots instantly

id rather not play a watered down version of MTG
It's more aggressive and simplistic, appreciate what it is, and with a full time job it's difficult to even get chances to play MTG anymore. Thats when Hearthstone comes in
*sips tea*
Not to mention that you can actually play Hearthstone for free. In MTG, you have to blow hundreds of dollars no matter what if you want to have a chance.
ive spent a grand total of $5 on MTG cards over my life and i have like 8 decks. i dont play competitively so i dont have to worry about shelling out the cash to compete at FNM.
How did you even get MTG cards then? Did you find them on the streets or something?

I like the original game Obviously you don't.
If you want to see it improved, why not just wait for the sequel?
You can like something and still recognize that it has faults and problems that can either be fixed or improved. Then you have games like Skyrim that provide a good foundation to be built upon (hence Bethesda easy to use modding tools and giving support for them), and had to be watered down due to under powered consoles. And no that's not PC elitism, that's a fact. There were a lot of things Bethesda wanted to do with Skyrim (namely the civil war) that they couldn't do because they had to have content parity with the 360 and PS3 for their vanilla version.
In Skyrim's case, after about 100 installed mods I've got it to the point where I've happily spent over 300 hours on the same game. I would not be able to get this same mileage out of vanilla Skyrim or spending over.
Seeing as how the average AAA game has about 10 hours of content in it I would have had to spend over $1800 to get the same amount of time out of them that I did Skyrim.

I have zero problems with the concept of a for-profit university. They provide valuable services to people that are willing to pay, and there's nothing wrong with that. Just because your tuition isn't cut with taxpayer dollars doesn't make a degree worth any less.
A lot of for-profit colleges are merely scam schools. They prey on people who are low-income by inflating their prices pushing the idea of student loans on them because that's the only way they'd be able to afford the school. Often times, these "schools" are not accredited and employers will not recognize them as legitimate schools, and therefore a worthless diploma and a mountain of debt.
but muh free market muh big gubmint is bad

While not making any excuses for this, "Islamic banking" is a very real thing in Arabic culture. It's a banking system based around honor and compassion that is a fundamental part of them doing business. One of its aspects is loans at a 0% interest rate, for example.
Obviously not saying that being a Muslim is a valid excuse to avoid interest, but she shouldn't just be called an idiot either. I could see that this might be a misunderstanding or something.
Flee wins the thread once again!

For-profit schools are utter garbage and shouldn't even be considered schools.
But..
But........
Muh capitalism
Scamming people like a lot of for-profit, post secondary institutions do by providing a mediocre and usless "education" isn't legitimate business that's just plain fraud.
The fact that these for-profit institutions even exist says a lot though.

By saying it, and some people will actually believe them.
How are they convincing people that there will be elections in June!?
What the hell is even the point of doing all of that? Won't they just lose more votes once everyone they're fooling realizes that they're lying?

My worry is that, however, as soon the economy starts working again then people's mentalities will switch back into those of the past, and might even vote again for those who caused the current situation. Syriza can work all it wants, but people's mentality, and the mentality of the countries in the EU? That's something it might not achieve to change.
This is exactly what I was referring to by "old ways". The current Greek government is trying, that's why I am hopeful for something to work out. That remains to be seen, however. New Democracy, PASOK and Potami have some people expecting that there will be elections in June, and they have been working too aggressively against the government in rather stupid ways.
How are they convincing people that there will be elections in June!?
