How does it correlate with the latest census data? Obviously the sex has a huge disparity, but what of it in terms of race and religious practice?

Race: [2010 numbers]
72.4% White
12.6% Black
4.8% Asian

Religion: [2007 numbers]
75.2% Christian
16.1% No religion
3.3% Other Christian
1.7% Jewish
0.7% Muslim
0.4% hindu
That's actually not that bad. The majority is always overrepresented, and for a population of that size that's a pretty close number.

The Flood / Re: Endings of things that you actually enjoyed.

I enjoyed the ending of 1984, Animal Farm, and Brave New World books. I feel like bleak endings aren't done often enough anymore.

For games, I felt Halo 3 was excellent. The chief is a war machine; outside of war, he has no purpose. So the story ends with him sealing himself far away from civilization until such a time that he's needed again. It's a reversal of how the series started and it was magnificently done. Wolfenstein TNO was great as well, it definitely nails down on what kind of story it told. Bayonetta had a great ending, it was a perfectly crazy ending to a crazy game that encapsulated most of the things that made it great.

For movies, I enjoyed the endings of Fight Club, Click, and Ghost in the Shell.

I wanna play ME3 just to say that the ending wasn't bad. Just to piss people off. But it's probably just easier to continue referring to it as the retarded alien sex simulator that it is.
It being bad has more to do with advertising lies than anything story related. Well, excluding the huge asspull.

Lead writer advertised 16 different endsings, and that it wouldn't be a red, blue,  or green ending. And it totally was.

I assume you're talking about a dream or concept?
Why would you think so?
It just reads like a metaphor or some philosophical concept.

Why can't people just be excellent to each other? I mean, outside of some misplaced sense of nationalism or attention whoring, there's no reason for this to be happening on either side. To that end, there are much easier ways to do both of those things.

Paradise Lost was largely composed of metaphors and references. I dare say it's one of its best qualities as a piece of literature.

Are there any caveats to Israel's handling of the situation? And not "blessings in disguise" type of fault, but true errors that they are making. I'm not doubting your line of reasoning, I'd just like a clearer picture of both sides.

I wish I could have seen eye-to-eye with Carlin more often, but every now and then, he would just say something too stupid for me to handle. I think he was too much of a hedonist.
He generally hit it on the nose, but every now and again he made some dumbass statements. Still quite insightful when he wasn't being stupid.

Everyone knows that obi wan has the high ground.
Well, I mean, he had a literal high ground. A moral one as well, yes, but he was standing at the top of a slope.

Serious / Re: "ISIL are not Islamic"
« on: January 04, 2015, 11:28:45 AM »
It's obvious that ISIL are Islamic, you won't get an argument there from most people. Personally, I find fault in painting extremists as the norm for any group of people, whether they be Muslim or vegan. That's why they are extremists, they take an extreme view of a subject. Why treat them as, in relation to the subject, a perfect example?

The Flood / Re: Why are SJW's so stupid when it comes to trolls?
« on: January 04, 2015, 11:03:11 AM »
It's a mindset that defaults to arguing, and I wouldn't hesitate to say that most SJWs enjoy doing it. Being argumentative isn't necessarily a bad thing, but not improving the rhetoric through the enormous amount of practice they get is.

And Vietnam doesn't count because Congress never signed a declaration of war. When are we going to annex Canada again?
