I don't see a problem with yoga pants. They're very comfortable and when otherwise dressed appropriately, won't show anything.

Also, leggings aren't tights. Leggings are generally allowed in the school dress code from what I've seen because they are thick enough not to reveal anything. Tights, however, aren't: they are general translucent and intended for wearing underneath something else.

I do wish she hadn't used the words "rape culture" and "male gaze", it makes me feel silly even reading her argument.

this trope comes to mind
specifically the third point
Quote
For example, placing a large number of invincible minor minions between the player and the Plot Coupon is extremely annoying, but they can be avoided by skilled movement - thus, the difficulty is real.
Note also that fake difficulty is not inherently bad. If used subtly, it can provide a satisfying challenge in cases where the AI might be lacking.

Anger, the 4th Amendment prohibits unnecessary search and seizure and states that a warrant must be served by a judicial court with probable cause. The NSA can't decrypt and view the contents of a hypothetical  piece of data until they've gone to court with documentation leading them to believe it holds value relative to illegal/terrorist activity.

The Patriot Act doesn't violate the 4th Amendment. I don't like it either, but it isn't illegal.
Either way, I feel like it's prudent to stress that the Constitution is by no means infallible, so to use it as a trump card in argumentation is asinine, anyway.
It's not that it's infallible, it's a part of our law that we cannot change or override. That means every new law that comes in has to work around it. If you're arguing that a law is against the constitution, then providing evidence from the constitution would go a long way.

I would say the game is not that hard and just has a steep learning curve, but I guess that still counts as difficulty.
Something is hard if it requires a good amount of endurance or effort. Therefore, Bloodborne's boss fights are usually hard.
I feel a lot of Bloodborne bosses are cheap. Like Father Gascogine for example. He can knock you down, and while you're in the animation of getting up, can still hit you. I find that crap to be rather BS.

Or how the Blood-Starved Beast just grabs you, poisons you, and then you take your sweet time getting up and try to heal, but he only leaves you with a small amount of health, so you just get up and die.

I know you can easily "avoid" these things in a fight, but it's stuff like that that's annoying.
You know you can roll in any direction and instantly get back up if you get knocked down, right?

And just dodge behind a pillar to antidote and heal.

I don't understand how people can remember
Well, my cousin had a NES and my mom's friend had a Genesis. I didn't have anything video gamey until years later, so it had to have been one or the other.

Actually the best alternative would be to just kill and nuke them all. They're all savages and the Middle East could use an example on what happens when they get out of hand with their bullshit religion.

Either Super Mario Bros or Sonic the Hedgehog. Very unique, I know.

All I can say is that I'm glad I'm not in a position of power to deal with this stuff. I would turn to insomnia and intense anxiety over what the right decisions would be here.

I bought AW to play with friends, but I only ended up spending like 10 minutes on it. It was also the first CoD I've bought since Blops.

I want to play it just because. Is there any continuity with the first game?
You fight Ornstein again and you can find Havel's armor. Also in NG+ you get the 4 Lord Souls from DS1.
but does it continue from where the first game ended or is it a new story?
It's hundreds of years later. An entire civilization rose and fell between the games.

I already have DS2 with all the DLC. Is there any reason to get this?
no
I heard it had the textures we were promised in the E3 trailers, as well as a few more features. Though that alone probably wouldn't encourage me to buy it again.
No. It's essentially the PC version
PC update was actually quite underwhelming from what I've seen.
No, I mean the Xbone/PS4 is basically the PC version + plus the new add-ons.

The DSII we all saw back when it was shown off doesn't exist beyong that.
I know, I was adding on that the DX11 update didn't do much in the way of graphical changes.

I'd actually really like to see you guys' reactions to a situation like this. It's all fine and dandy saying one thing, but when it comes to walking the walk, I bet nearly all of you would pussy out.
I'd yank that kid up so hard it'd nearly break his arm, then drag him to his parents and curse them up one side and down the other for their little shit of a son.

You asked. Besides, it's not exactly uncommon behavior. I see it happen all the time (my reaction, not kids beating each other with baseball bats).

Meh. I'd pay lip service, but they can't exactly force me to believe something. Something as silly as a public label isn't worth ending your life over.
What's life worth at that point? Something tells me they wouldn't take kindly to being lied to, either.
You work on extradition, that's what you do. Sing the song and dance while you're in danger, then do whatever later. If all I have to do is pay lip service to the religion, why should I care? Being where I lived in the South for the past few years, I had to pretend to be a hardcore Christian or face being a pariah. Been there, done that; it's not as God awful as it sounds.

I'm getting it because it looks/runs better than my PS3 copy and it comes with the DLC (that I never bought).

I do feel kind of stupid buying it considering the flak I gave my friends for buying cowadoody and TLoU again on 8th gen.

To be fair about the Batgirl cover change, they admitted that the cover didn't go through the proper channels for approval and it didn't match the comic's tone. The people who pointed that out got harassment though, which is definitely not okay.
Harassment from whom? The people who wanted it to change, or wanted to keep it?

Personally, I never really figured out what the big deal was over that cover anyway. It's an example of the type of "activism" that I wouldn't really support, unless it was spelled out to me in plain English what the problem was...
A bit of both. The former for "understating" the issue, and the latter for being mistaken for the first party.

Batgirl was savagely beaten and possibly sexually molested by the Joker in the "Killing Joke", one of the more well known Batman comics in the late 80s. Recently it was Joker's 50th anniversary, so DC had a lineup of alternate covers to commemorate it. Batgirl's was a reference to the Killing Joke.

However, Killing Joke was a vastly different comic to the new Batgirl which is an upbeat comic aimed at teenage audiences. People pointed out that it doesn't match the tone of the comic, and a vocal minority who have no connection to DC comics saw it on their dashes and got upset because of the implications.

The artist asked to withdraw the cover because of the issues, he wasn't forced too. Really an overblown issue.
