Bigger can be better, but it's not necessarily better. Only better if it's done right. Artwork is a big deal too, that "pre-order x game and get a steelbook" promotions were usually pretty good.

Let's phrase it a different way: There's no pain, it's more like a ringing feeling. Headache was just the best word I could think of for it at the time.
Which means the weed was harvested early and it's fucking trash. The trichomes haven't developed properly and haven't filled with THC. The little orange/red hairs aren't orange/red or probably not even there. It was probably harvested terribly too with the majority of the leaves just mushed into it.
Essentially you smoked a bunch of dry leaves and if you got "high" from that it was a placebo effect.
Much better explanation of what I would feel.By "ringing", I don't mean like ringing in my ears. It's more like waves would run through my skull and I'd feel groggy. I always assumed that it was just the head-high fading away, and I'm still quite sure that's what it was. Especially considering this happened every time I smoked no matter who I got it from.
