I still own my PS3, Wii, and 360; it's more a matter of convenience. Not everybody has the shelf/outlet space for multiple consoles, so backwards compatibility is a huge space saver. Also, voted for ใER. Needs some more love, especially with another one announced.

Mobile cards are shit no matter what you get, so deciding on a graphics card is pointless for laptops. Just make sure it had an i7-4970k since the CPU will do all the work anyways.
I'm not I'm literally just looking for a good laptop haha, whether or not it's good for gaming isn't really important, it's just a plus
Doesn't matter what you planning on doing with the computer really tbh. No matter what it is, mobile cards are terrible and barely make a difference. They end up off loading nearly everything onto the CPU. So just make sure you have a great CPU and 8gB RAM. You'll be golden.
looking at task manager while playing Civ V tells me otherwise, babe.
Civ V is a CPU game tho. GPU is just for accelerating image production. Civ V allocates most of its horsepower into running background information and simulating the AI.
Not to say that it doesn't use the GPU, it's just not as necessary in that kind of game.
That AI really doesn't take much at times, lol.
I was just giving examples lol AI never take much because it hasn't advanced in sophistication since the late 90s.
