Game's okay. Might get on sale for shits and giggles, but I don't see myself playing this frequent enough to pay full price.

reveal

and before people get salty:

"all new modes and gameplay features will be available as free updates for existing street fighter v owners"

if there's one thing missing from this, though, it's the teaser for the final season 2 character

i understand that we just got menat, but i think if we got some kind of quick tease at the final character, that would've blown this trailer through the roof
I'd be good with just a silhouette tbh, especially since it won't be a returning character and it won't give anything away except possibly the type of fighter it is.

what the fuck are you people referencing

oh gross

though i'm curious as to how a non-sexual hug could be construed as a rape scene
YouTube

I'm typically not a fun of Always Sunny, but there are a few good episodes here and there. The Nightman Cometh is one of them.

go as the duality of man
The nightman on the left, the dayman on the right.

The rape scene is gonna go down really well.
It's not a rape scene

An erotically charged hug, then
No no no, there's nothing sexual about it. It's the Nightman becoming the Boy.

The long wait between seasons made me realize that Rick & Morty just isn't great in the first place, but the fanbase and drop in overall quality (even though I wouldn't call any episode this season "bad") helps confirm that a bit.

When I bought Persona 5, they were offering to let me upgrade to the CE steelbook for free because they were trying to get rid of them.
The Steelbook looks great imo, like it better than the standard art

« on: October 02, 2017, 08:03:55 PM »
I feel like we should discuss how bad the cover art is

Like, it's just Shepard, Miranda and Thane doing an action pose. Doesn't really instill any sense of sci fi wonder in me at all.
It does reflect the change in the series itself at that point, though. ME1 was closer to Star Trek, which used the crew as a vehicle to explore different ideas, themes, and fueling the sense of discovery. ME2 is closer to the J.J. Abrams films, which focus more on the characters themselves. It's a smaller, more focused game and the cover reflects that by making the characters the primary component of it.

Spoiler
It does suck tho

You'd think for a game that focuses so much on squad building, they'd put more than two on there
You work in squads of three, and showing off a larger roster would give it an inaccurate larger-scale feeling.

NFL is at its worst right now. Teams are boring af, and the meta is getting really stale. Needs someone good to come along and shake up how plays are run.
and the kneeling
I hate that sports are getting politicized, but I don't consider the kneeling a problem in and of itself.
you're the problem
>Kaepernick does his kneeling thing
>Stirs controversy, but he goes into free agency and nobody picks him up
>Starts to go away
>Trump starts talking shit out of nowhere and relights the flame
>Now entire teams are kneeling

But no, clearly people who don't think kneeling is a huge deal and don't think that should get players fired are at fault, and not the people who want to bring politics into sports.
Kaepernick was about to get signed too but his dumb as fuck girlfriend just had to ruin everything and call out the NFL for being racist on twitter. Now he's jobless still.
It really is a shame that all of this is the reason that he hasn't been signed by anybody, because it certainly isn't a lack of talent.

The NFL will continue to get worse as long as Roger Goodell is in charge
Viewership has been steadily declining over the past few years. Hopefully that will be enough to replace him soon.
