Problem with CoD is that (until this year's iteration) it was repetitive and dull If you're talking about the SP sure, but the MP is the same shit it's always been. You know what you're getting at this point.
Yeah, schlock; the important distinction is that's it's schlock, not p2p2w microtransaction cancer.

it's aight
Kinda disillusioned with Nolan a bit. I used to think he was a fucking god when I was fifteen, but as right now, the Dark Knight is the only thing he's made that I still love.
Dunkirk is fantastic. Nolan's use of time in film is precisely why I'm still excited for the eventual Foundation miniseries.
Nolan is directing a Foundation miniseries?
He said he was (him and his brother) a couple of years ago. The wait makes it feel like it got quietly canned, but I'm holding out hope.
and then denis villeneuve has that dune movie in the works, apparently
what a time to be alive for you nerds
I'm not looking forward to any Dune adaptations tbh. The series is fine for translating to film, but the first book will always be clunky or very changed from the source.

I bet it will still sell like sliced bread.
Ppl shit on cod (for good reason), but it still ends up being the best selling game every year for over a decade now without fail. The silent majority will always overshadow the loud minority.
Problem with CoD is that (until this year's iteration) it was repetitive and dull, but not overty cash grabby compared to the market it was sold in. People are okay with cosmetic microtransactions for the most part, but EA making this game p2p2w is intolerable. CoD is Hep-C, EA's money making schemes are cancer and legitimately killing the industry.

The titles are a bit too high on the cover imo, but it probably works better on the xbox case.

AotC is legitimately awful though. Only "good" parts are the city chase and the big battle on Geonosis, and they are both flawed on their own.
I wouldn't even say those are good. Battle of Geonosis is laughably dreadful IMO.
The clones arriving is hype. Entire thing dragged down by Jango "Couldn't get A Head" Fett and absolutely disgusting choreography.

I can get some enjoyment out of TPM and RotS (although I still think they're overall terrible) but AotC is hands down one of the worst films I've ever seen with no redeeming aspects aside from the soundtrack and some nice cinematography (EDIT: and dexter jettster and the 50s space diner).
This. Phantom Menace gets pulled apart over that RLM review from back in the day, but its flaws are over-exaggerated to ridiculousness. It's not a bad movie, just pretty mediocre. RotS is the best of the three, with its only real problem being the god awful pacing. AotC is legitimately awful though. Only "good" parts are the city chase and the big battle on Geonosis, and they are both flawed on their own.

At the very least, if it didn't outright detract, "distracting" would mean that it pulled your attention away from other aspects of the film to the point that it was a memorable and very noticeable aspect in ways that it shouldn't be.

an annoying voice can't make a show worse, but a better voice (or an artistic lacking of voice) can make a show better
but in that post, you described their voices as "distracting"; which, outside of the single most unconventional use of the word, would indicate that it detracted from the overall experience pick your poison, bucko. were you wrong now or wrong every other time
