What if they were the most competent options for the job?
He had a disproportionately larger pool of male MPs (134, as opposed to 50 female MPs) to choose from. It just doesn't make any statistical sense that exactly 15 men and 15 women from said pools would both be equally qualified.
But if they are all highly qualified in the first place, then it really comes down to preference. Having someone go into office with good PR is something that politicians have to keep in mind.

Stasis is always an option, or a coma if you are on a budget.
But then I miss my class finals and that is not kakkoii. I also would miss Thanksgiving, and that would mean skipping oven-seared turkey breast and grandmother's banana pudding.

I thought the BoS were super evil
They're supposed to be massive assholes.
Well the split off group in Fallout 3 wasn't
They're normally technology hoarders who'd really do anything to get their hands on said technology
And even then, the original Brotherhood isn't EVIL, just not super white knights. They still help you take down the Muties (I think) and Enclave in Fallout 1 and 2. If anything, they fit the lawful neutral or Neutral good alignment
Lawful Neutral: A lawful neutral character typically believes strongly in lawful concepts such as honor, order, rules, and tradition, and often follows a personal code. Examples of lawful neutral characters include a soldier who always follows orders, a judge or enforcer that adheres mercilessly to the word of the law, and a disciplined monk.
Neutral Good: A neutral good character typically acts altruistically, without regard for or against lawful precepts such as rules or tradition. A neutral good character has no problems with co-operating with lawful officials, but does not feel beholden to them. In the event that doing the right thing requires the bending or breaking of rules, they do not suffer the same inner conflict that a lawful good character would.
One of the FO1 endings has the Brotherhood of Steel spread East to protect settlements from the remnants of the Master's Army; that's likely why Lyons' goals are so different from the California BoS Elders, because that was one of the main purposes of spreading East. The Outcasts are more like the Western BoS chapter (Lawful Neutral) than the altruistic Eastern chapter (Lawful Good). The Master's Army is the Lawful Evil faction of FO1, and The Enclave is the Lawful Evil faction of FO2 and FO3.

Do it Psy, become Legend TM.

Japanese women like gay porn? Huh. Learn something new everyday
Not just japanese women tbh fam
Allow me to put on my insensitive worldview slacks and suspenders, if you will.
The panzies who call themselves men who actively enjoy japanese yaoi are not worthy of the title of "men."
Now, allow me to take my insensitive worldview slacks and suspenders off.
Seductively.
I was talking about American and Swedish women That was pretty gay thinking there Sandman, tbh
