In attempts to make my own Tabletop system because I'm a massive fucking nerd, I'm trying to amass a knowledge of many different systems so that I might borrow from them.
So far I'm reading over GURPS and W40K, and I already know plenty about D&D/Pathfinder and Savage Worlds.
Any other suggestions, lads?
That pretty much covers everything as far as I'm aware. Most things are based off of those four systems.

At least in Dark Souls there's a point to it, and it's immersive.

Dark Souls should be the same way.
Dark Souls is one of their older games. Of course Bloodborne improves on some aspects.

Yeah, I was just being pedantic. Bloodborne succeeded to Dark Souls, Dark Souls succeeded Demon's Souls, Demon's Souls succeeded Shadow Tower, Shadow Tower succeeded King's Field, blah blah. Point is that Dark Souls isn't exactly their first attempt at that kind of game, and using "older" as an excuse just comes off as ignorant. Not saying you are, just the impression that gave off. Carry on.
