I got what I asked for. Nothing.
Sometimes nothing is the only something you need.
Well, sort of. There's sort of a point where you've got everything in viable money range, and anything else is too big of a hurdle to otherwise tackel.
I wouldn't complain if I woke up one day to be the brand new owner of a tank. But, obviously, that's probably something only the likes of bill gates or trump could pull off. Not my wee little niece. So I roll with it.
It's why I just ask for books or clothing. Still, it's the thought that counts with gifts.

I'll go out on a limb and say that you like Joy Division. How did you know?
I don't really know, just intuition I guess.

Well, I bought a GameCube (with 3 controllers, Ultimate Spider-man, Shrek Superslam, Mario Party 6, Pac-man World 2, Lego Star Wars 2, and Super Smash Bros. Melee) and a Wii-U (with Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash. Bros 4) for myself, but as gifts from others I got:
-Permanent by Joy Division -Lizard by King Crimson -And All That Could Have Been by Nine Inch Nails Live -Still by Joy Division -Closer by Joy Division -Broken by Nine Inch Nails -Substance by Joy Division -a few track pants -a Pikachu shirt (perfect for playing Smash Bros.) -Top Man boots -Stormtrooper onesie -and a DC Comic Collection with some of DC's best comics + their cinematic counterparts. I only have 2 of these so I'm looking forward to it
I'll go out on a limb and say that you like Joy Division.

Question 27 doesn't make sense. Why should convicts not be allowed to vote?
Look up felony disenfranchisement.

A giant Darth Vader mug, perfume, books, clothes, an electronic drumset, and $110. Still one more house to go to.

Bibleman was my shit
I remember the Bibleman seminars. Christian Batman rip-off didn't deserve to be that entertaining.

1) Get $500 grocery tab 2) Open fuel rewards cards at retailers 3) Get anywhere from $0.10 to $1.00 off gas consistently
I'd eat for free and be able to fill my car up for like $10 whenever I wanted. Easily the best option.

Whether or not Verb would be a good mod, past choices say that how the community views them plays a role. Given what an explosive conversation this has been, I doubt that Verby would get chosen. Too risky for community backlash.
Maybe down the road, if things continue to change.
i am the bernie sanders of sep7agon
also, this has evolved into a conversation about whether there exist any selfless deeds, so yeah
if you have any thoughts on that
There is always some degree of self-interest in what people do. It could be ideological (martyrdom, for example) or for material gain. The focus should be on where that effort is directed. Nobody thinks they're the bad guy, everybody wants to fix things in their own way. Selfless and selfish are a matter of perspective.

Not a fan of scaring myself either. Thrillers are where it's at.
Now that I agree with. Ever seen Red Eye?
Nope, but I'm willing to give it a watch.

Anyways, to answer the original topic, he was banned for continuing to fight after being told to cut it out, including making a new thread to continue it once the first was locked.
It's only a couple day lite ban. He'll be back
What rules was he breaking, officer?
- Creating threads with the sole purpose of communicating with another member (calling out) is discouraged, and the thread in question may be locked, depending on the content and context of the thread. Calling out a user maliciously will automatically earn a lock and may include a warning of 5% to 15%, depending on the severity.
- The forum staff reserves the right to remove you, and your content, from the forums for any reason, without warning. This was agreed upon registration to the site.
Additionally, sharing private messages without my consent. This isn't listed as being against the rules, but it should be, and people have been warned/banned for doing that sort of thing in the past.
What was his thread about? I understand that he could've communicated with you through pms, but I'm curious.
You could just check Kupo's last post in his history tbh.

Dogs were domesticated so easily because they naturally aligned to pack mentality and humans tended to fill out whatever the wolves lacked, like opposable thumbs and being sapient. Foxes aren't very social creatures in the first place iirc, and wolves were domesticated over hundreds of years anyway. If it happens successfully, it'll be a long time until that day arrives.
It already happened in Soviet Russia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Domesticated_Red_Fox
To be fair, the article also makes it out to still be an ongoing process. Still impressive, though.

I never understood why people hated midichlorians so much. It makes sense that some people are more force-sensitive than others.
The force is supposed to be fantastical space magic, and assigning pseudo-science draws unnecessary attention to something you're just supposed to glaze over.
Well, yeah, but people like Han Solo could never use the force, even if he trained under Obi-Wan. People like Luke had it come naturally to them, and so did everyone in Luke's bloodline. There has to be some explanation there, and midichlorians fit the bill.
You can explain that without pseudo-science. Literal space magic, why isn't everybody a wizard in fantasy? I don't really care that much about midi-chloride anyway, but I'm just doing my best to explain the outrage.

No offense intended lol. I just expected the statistics to be a bit higher. I'm sure that worldwide is a good bit different, what with China and India throwing a screwball for non-theistic deism.
None taken, dw. I actually apprecaite you popping into debates with statistics and stuff. Keeps everyone as intellectual honest as possible.
I have studied the numbers in the past so I can't take all the credit.
It's just my way to participate without hopping in the middle of things. A good compromise, if I say so.

Do you disagree with the fact that if you're not a theist, you're an atheist? It's in the definition of the word. Just tell me whether or not you agree with that so I can know whether or not to waste anymore time ITT.
To clarify, are you intending this to refute Ganon's initial statement? If so, that would entirely depend on whether he intended "athiest" literally or by self-titling. If the former, it's a minority at roughly 20% of the US; if the latter, it's a minority of roughly 3-7%. His estimate was in the ballpark, surprisingly.
