The Flood / Re: What's your favorite Pixar film?
« on: January 07, 2016, 06:55:01 PM »
I think A Bug's Life was the movie that had the "Geri's Game" short film play right before it on VHS.

That film terrified me and gave me nightmares, he just creeped me out.
Pixar shorts are great
Most of them, yeah.

I really hated that one, though.
I never realized he was playing against himself until I was like 14.

But what was creepy?

Oblivion is a better game than Skyrim (sans Hearthfire, my DLC-fu), but I can never get past the potato faces nowadays.
Hearthfire seriously
Buildings sims are great, even if they are super simple.

It's good to know that when I eventually drop dead from whatever causes nobody will mourn my passing here. Quiet and unmemorable. Just the way I like it.

That being said. If I think of Sep7agon and some token faces in the community;

The unholy weeb trinity of like three people I can never remember

Three reasons. You can't go anywhere here without bumping into them, or some grand discussion comes out of something they said. Or they've just got memorable personalities/quirks in conjunction with one of the other two.

Keep whoring out you sluts.
Am I turning into a faceless weeb?

Serious / Re: Why do people treat the constitution like a holy scripture?
« on: January 07, 2016, 12:31:08 PM »
I'm not sure if the matter is about not wanting it to be amended, but rather what the amendment in question entails. Amendments are necessary changes, not something you tack on for publicity or pseudo-progressiveness.

Tumblrina diction. That's all you need to know.
it's actually literally just a matter of social etiquette and politeness, but w/e

i wouldn't ever use the term "micro-aggression" because that's gay as fuck, but i still know not to say dumb shit to people
I mean, it seems like a pretentious way of calling someone passive-aggressive, but the examples you posted look more like outright ignorance manifesting as prejudice.

I have a friend-of-a-friend who thinks bisexuality is just not wanting to admit that you're gay; he doesn't hate gay people, he has gay friends. He just doesn't understand it. I wouldn't say that him saying "you're either straight or gay" is being aggressive in any way.

I don't know, tangent aside, it just comes off as another means to dismiss someone without actually responding to them. It's pretty clear that it implies hostility, without saying that someone is hostile.
